Spacious and airy restaurant, modern but with a vintage touch. The ambience is relaxed at brunch, and not too crowded. Food is good, even though a little bit pricey, but I guess it is on the average for the area.

Most amazing place for brunch breakfast and dinner. Everything is manicured from the fruit to the latte. Experience is what this place holds with Class!!! Every visit is a fulfilled desire. The Roof is apart of this location that opens at 4. Penthouse view with a full bar. Drinks are doctored to your needs. Experienced bartending. I feel enamored here. $$$$

Large restaurant and bar. Came to eat lunch with a large group and there was plenty of room. The waiter was extremely nice and pleasant. The food is a bit expensive but it was good. We are bagels and lox and a bacon, egg and cheese muffin. But the best part were the kid’s pancakes. They had three thick pancakes with sorbet on top, caramelized bananas and pralines. They loved them!

My favorite dinner at this area. Great drinks and cocktails, very good service, nice food. A place for any time of the day. For a quick snack or s drink, for lunch or late dinner. The burgers are great as well as the soup and the service is always fast and very welcoming

Very nice place. Drinks were good. Did not try food. Place just needs time to get aligned with wide range of customers coming to NY.

Located at the Viceroy Hotel, Kingside is a really nice place for a drink and a bite to eat. It's not too large so I'd bet there are times when getting a seat is tougher, but I didn't have too much of a problem for happy hour on a Tuesday. The menu is a little on the pricey side but the happy hour deals aren't bad, and the cocktails are quite good.

Very nice atmosphere and service. The house IPA is very decent, and I love their selection of cocktail (the bartender is skilled and the waiter is very knowledgeable about virgin versions of the cocktails). The decor is impressive (black and white, brown leather seats and aged mirrors) could easily look old and dingy but instead feels very cool, hip and cosy. That being said, the food is not great and way overpriced, this is where they lost a star for me.

After arriving in NYC for a girls trip we were hungry! Kingside was close to our hotel so we stopped to give it try. We were seated immediately. Our server was very friendly & helpful keeping our glasses full as we were really thirsty. Food came out quickly, hot & fresh. I ordered a burger that was great! We enjoyed being seated at the window bar. Restaurant was pleasant while watching the hustle & bustle outside. Very good place to eat!

My in-laws were in town, so we took them to Kingside for Restaurant Week. I was a bit skeptical based on the mixed reviews, but we had a near perfect evening. The only reason I give Kingside four instead of five stars is because the service was extremely slow, even though the dining room was nearly empty. The cocktails are heavenly. I had the Troublemaker, which is the perfect, crisp, summer drink. For an appetizer, I had a kale salad with goat cheese and pine nuts. Typically, restaurants stiff you on the portions for Restaurant Week, but this salad was big enough for two! My father-in-law had the shrimp avocado toast, which was also delicious, although I could've done with less red bell pepper. For the main course, they had some sort of seafood pasta, which was good, but I opted for the chicken based on other Google Local Guides' reviews. It did not disappoint. The course that deserves a rave review, however, was the dessert. We had a caramel pudding with a pretzel crunch that was swirled in between, so you tasted salty and sweet with every bite. It is very rich though, so I suggest sharing it with your dining partner. Overall, the food was good, the service was so-so, and I will add that the decor is more decadent than the pictures show! I was expecting a 1950s diner that didn't mesh with the gourmet fare, but it is much more upscale than what's advertised. I will be coming back.

Great spot for street work drinks. We had dinner and the food was excellent. Dessert menu was a bit weak. Staff were really cool and very attentive. Place was a bit chilly, so bring a jersey. There is a pretty huge standing area around the bar, good for large groups.

Really good kale salad, with 5 large shrimp & a fine cabernet. The burger looked great too, & the complimentary bread (must be asked for) was a delicious multigrain sourdough with a good crust. Our waiter was charming & polite, helpful with questions, & knew when to disappear.

Stylish place with nice crew. I wasn't so lucky with my food choice, but I'll give another chance.

I love Manhattan!! I visited this nice restaurant on 9/27/19. The atmosphere was comfortable & romantic - lights were dim with candles on the table! My server was very pleasant & patient. Food was very fresh & tasty!

One of the best Happy Hour establishments on 57th Street. A pleasant team of servers and bartenders, along with a welcoming group of ladies at reception. The drinks are well balanced. The food is amazing. And yes, they have happy hour food options. An enclosed roof top area is also available via a separate entrance.
