delicious hot pot for 2 - healthy and savory with a nice kick from the chile peppers in the pot. Afterwards you should order the bibimbap option where they add rice to the leftover broth and veggies and cook it up into a delicious creamy second course - will definitely be back. Lovely service, too.

Excellent food and fast, friendly service. They had a champagne-like drink made with sake and jelly that was delicious and a little strange (in a good way). Visits here are always memorable. We have the hot pot and have enjoyed every one so far.

We love this restaurant- it's ambiance is perfectly balanced with the superb presentations of the star of the dinner- pig- cooked in a multitude of ways- a fun, easy going yet intimate dining experience- excellent sakè selection , comfortable noise level, attentive service, and perfectly cooked dishes- we don't eat here as often as we should!

Quality Japanese street food. Pork feet dishes are their signature, must try. Grill pork belly is fantastic. Reservation is recommended.

Came here for lunch on a weekend. There's no wait and no reservation needed. The nabe here is pretty standard - I personally don't find it special but it's still a good nabe. The appetizers were ok - also not bad but nothing special. The dessert platter tho - was unexpectedly good. It was pretty worth it for the price and everything tasted pretty good. Same price at any cafe in ktown would cost you double and might not even taste as good.

Wow, a truly amazing Japanese restaurant. Went here with a large group—The service was excellent, and the food was really nice. The hotpots had really nice flavor, and I would highly recommend getting the wraps as well. Left feeling very full, but in a hearty way :))

Great spot for a date or small group to share a hotpot and have some fun small bites. Their yakiniku wrap was amazing and the congee after finishing the hotpot is such a nice touch. Their hotpot could be more flavorful though. Service is amazing too! For a party of 2, I'd recommend ordering the small size hotpot and getting some appetizers to share.

The service felt disorganized and lacking, but was friendly and courteous. We interacted with a different waiter almost everytime we needed assistance. We were given an incorrect order and it was then taken away and given to the table next to us, not sure how comfortable they were to eat it. Nonetheless, the food was delicious. Highly recommend the hotpot, ebi may, and mentai fried rice. Do NOT pass on the almond tofu pudding made by the chef’s wife.

For a delicious Japanese hotpot this is the spot. The food wad great. The Japanese hotpot was something I haven’t had in this style which was unique and enjoyable, even this time of year with the AC blasting in the restaurant. The chicken was super juicy and the mentai fried rice is a must try. The desserts were divine. My personal favorites were the cheese cake, pudding, and roast Goma ice cream. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Attentive to your needs. The bathroom had a nice selection of mouth wash, hair bands, feminine products, q-tips if needed which was a nice touch. Pro tip: go with in a group of 3-6 to be able to try more items on the menu.

The weather has gotten colder and we would like to have something warm so we visited Hakata Ton Ton again for their Motsu Hot Pot. We got their Ebi Mayo as appetizer and it wasn’t our type but looked good. We love their Pork Trotter so much but the portion was kind of small. Their classic Motsu Hot Pot is extremely delicious & satisfying in cold weather.

They have a larger area compared to their previous location so it's very easy to reserve seats here. The staff are really nice too and will gladly assist you to everything. In terms of the taste, my friend from Fukuoka approved of this place! Very authentic and pricing is standard of Midtown rates. They're having a lunch pop-up collab right now until Dec 29th so come try their teishoku. For the dinner menu, I highly suggest the Motsunabe and Mentai fried rice.

This place was amazing! It was a random find as the 1st place we wanted to go to had a 40min wait. The motsu hotpot was really unique, but our favs was def the cheesecake, the best cheesecake I've ever had! Service was so attentive and friendly, and the bathrooms were wellstocked and had bidets!

A spacious authentic Japanese restaurant with beautiful food presentation and wonderful service. The Yum Cha Set was big with a good assortment of small fresh dishes. My personal favs were the Sui Gyoza, a flavorful dumpling broth served in a teacup, and the Kani Harumaki, it’s similar to a taco with crab meat and glass noodles. Genmai-cha Tea was excellently roasted and went well with the meal, they refilled the tea jar for us too! The Tonton Dessert Platter was a delight. Got to sample all their desserts, fell in love with the black sesame ice cream, so nutty, so good. The rest were amazing too! The green tea almond tofu was the only exception, it was such a weird combo. My friend wasn’t into it either so maybe it’s an acquired taste lol. It was aesthetic though as the matcha drizzled on top of the tofu. What better way way to end a stressful week than a delicious Sunday lunch on a beautiful sunny day. Both the sets we ordered were creative and exquisite. There was not a single person in that restaurant who wasn’t snapping pics 😂 It is expensive, but the food is of high-quality AND tasty. The staff were soooo sweet too! They greeted us in Japanese 🥹 Definitely a place worth revisiting, maybe next time we’ll try their famous hotpot!

It's my third time here and I would keep coming back here for how delicious the food tasted. This time we ordered the signature hotpot, the okonomiyaki, and the shrimp chili (which was tomato, egg, and shrimp). The shrimp chili was hands down the best item we've had here. Those three dishes were enough for us party of two. Its price point is a little on the higher end but I highly recommend it!
