Cake was not too sweet (in a good way) unlike what it seemed to be. I want to come back and try some other cakes.

Amy's bread is always consistently good. I love the sour dough olive loaf and their ready made sandwiches are great. You can't leave without some type of dessert though. I always get a few cookies and I'm never disappointed!

* The food is superb: the ingredients, presentation, flavors, and pricing are all absolutely on point. * The setting is charming: although the space is small, and was filled with customers when I was there on a busy Saturday afternoon, it still felt cozy, welcoming, and homey, with a nice European flair, not unlike a boulangerie in the South of France. * The staff is wonderful: everyone was extremely friendly, knowledgable, professional, and genuine. Nelson was especially fabulous: I could see that he was dealing with several overly demanding, rude, confrontational customers (back to back) and yet he never lost his patience, charm, or professionalism, and treated all of them as if they were not just customers but more like they were old friends. And he never lost his beautiful smile, or the twinkle in his eye, for even a moment. > I'd highly recommend this Amy's location (250 Bleecker, in NYC) to anyone and everyone. <3

the bread is utterly delicious. the pastries very good (scones are yumm. cakes and brownies are a bit on the over-sugary side.) The service can be spotty however. Sometimes kind, helpful and enthusiastic. Other times it borders on incompetent - even rude. You have a sense the place is often a training ground for staff - nothing wrong with that ... but only one at the tie, please! (and manners! please teach new staff to say "thank you!")

The bread is delicious. Hard and crusty on the outside and nice and chewy on the inside. The service is okay. The other baked goods are very delcious. They offer a selection of sandwiches. Love the coffee. Moderately priced.

Great cheese biscuits (even better when they heat it up). Nice place to sit for a coffee and do some people watching at the famous Bleecker st. Sad update: Amy's Bread at Bleecker no longer exists :(

Amy's Bread has the best coffee. I also love the carrot cake and the challah knots! This location offers soups made daily, which is served with a breadstick or a roll. My absolute favorite is the chocolate cherry rolls, which are sweet and fruity. The atmosphere is very family friendly.

I come here from time to time (used to live close by) and am always really happy with the baked goods and offerings. Sometimes on my birthday I stop in for the awesome pink frosted yellow cake. It's simple but perfect. Adding a photo

Wonderful baked goods, soups, sandwiches and salads with fantastic coffee. A real neighborhood place. Skip the Starbucks across the street and visit Amy's instead!

Loved their cakes, chocolate and the coconut were out favorites. Had a nice place to sit casually and eat with fun people wanting views to the street.

I'm a regular so I'm biased! The pink cupcakes / cakes are INSANELY good. So delicious. The coffees and soups are also super tasty.

Great sandwiches and coffee. This place has the essence of the Village: small, cute, and cozy. It is hard not to come back
