This place is a gluten free haven! The service was great, quick and attentive. My only not so favourite thing were how sweet the sauces on our sesame chicken and beef dishes. Otherwise still great dinner and night out in NYC! P.s. gluten free soya sauce only!!
This is THE Gluten free chinese spot in the city. The food is SO GOOD. It’s definitely a little bit more on the expensive side and I’m glad I made a reservation. Serving sizes are great. Love it here!
The best sushi I’ve had in a while. I’m gluten free and also can’t have sesame seeds. They have an entire separate gluten free menu! I felt safe ordering things which is usually hard at a Chinese restaurant since soy sauce has wheat. They use a different soy sauce for people with allergies. I would definitely return!
Excellent service and amazing gluten-free options for those with food allergies! I tried the pom-teriyaki grilled chicken with veggies, my Celiac husband got General Tso's, and we shared the pan-fried potstickers. WOW, I didn't even know potstickers this soft and tender (but that actually stay together and don't fall apart) and flavorful were even possible gluten-free. They were beyond tasty, and I'd recommend them to anyone! The only downside to this restaurant at all was that the tables were really tight and the music was a bit loud, plus the people next to us were so loud we couldn't have a conversation apart from them. I understand this is pretty normal as far as spacing goes in NYC, but we were visiting from out of state and weren't prepared for the close quarters. Still, the food was worth it, and if we lived closer, we'd be back. 🥟🥢
Nice cozy little spot in Lenox Hill. The sushi was just okay, but my friend was overjoyed with the gluten free options. Service was excellent. Many different styles of Asian food.. from pho to teriyaki bowls to nigiri.
Great place for celiac folks who want dumplings. This place has great food all around for both people who do and don't eat gluten. Sesame chicken and dumplings are awesome
Nice restaurant with great gluten free options! Great food, so many options for gluten free, got food quickly. In the photos listed we got a starter salad and then i got the steamed vegetables with the ginger basil sauce and rice - it was very good! The sauce was not overpowering with ginger. This restaurant is on the smaller side so I would recommend making a reservation especially if you are dining during common dinner/lunch hours (call to make a reservation) and please use the address listed on the website! The address listed on google is the old address. However, both locations are only a 2 minute walk from each other if you mess it up.
Pretty tasty place for a modest price. We did enjoy the sake and our entrees, also this place is great if you have allergies because it has an all gluten-free menu that you can choose off of. I had the gluten-free spicy Szechuan beef. It was delicious although I think it could have had a little more heat. The sake was really good as well. Definitely give this place a try
Our Celiac daughter had the dumplings and chicken lo mein. Delicious and she didn’t get sick. Highly recommend!! Thank you for being a safe GF restaurant!!!
I have celiac disease and have missed Chinese food so much. These were my first dumplings in about 8 years, and they did not disappoint! Gluten free steamed pork dumplings, crispy general tso’s chicken, and I got the lo mein to go as well. All was delicious, and I did not get sick! Will definitely come back :)
Stopped in here after power shopping at Bloomingdale’s - very basic interior but excellent sesame chicken, dumplings and service (the woman at the bar is very lively / happy to be here) - and you can look right out the window and people watch on Lexington - I would come back for sure!
I called in advance to check table availability. When we arrived our table was ready and we were immediately seated.
Our waiter came over to take the order for drink and appetizers. He was very friendly and patient.
We ordered the boneless ribs and the house dumplings. Both good.
He came back to take entree order. My husband ordered the Mongolian Beef, came with white rice and the House Specia Fried Rice.
Amazing food! I am gluten free and they had SO many options. The restaurant understands a gluten allergy and ordering was a breeze. Loved the crispy general pso!
Pan Asian and super cute. My waiter was attentive and friendly. I went for the gluten free options and there was an entire menu dedicated to it. SO many options. I love asian food, chinese especially and it's difficult to enjoy and manage the gluten. I ordered steamed vegetables and shrimp with a spcy garlic sauce and brown rice. The sauce was brought out on the side. They had chocolate and carrot cake options for desert. BOTH gluten free. It was delicious. The entire experience!
I have celiac disease, and as a New Yorker, have been mourning my favorite Chinese-American dishes since I got my diagnosis. Lilli&Loo has a fully GF menu with all the classics! We tried the spare ribs, dumplings, lo mien, house special fried rice, and sesame chicken. They were all excellent (and I haven’t experienced any celiac symptoms, so they are actually doing it right!) And for the first time since I started having to eat GF, I didn’t feel like I had to settle for second best due to my food hypersensitivity. This is definitely first rate, delicious, Chinese food and I am so thankful it’s here!!!
Fantastic stop for Gluten Free options. They have a whole menu for GF. Non GF was also really good. Pai Thai and Sesame Chicken was delicious.
Good attentive service along with a cozy atmosphere.
They have the biggest gluten free menu I have ever seen in my 3.5 years being gluten free! It is so hard to find places with Asian gluten free option. It was amazing choosing from such a big variety of foods for once. Even gluten free spring rolls! They were delicious. So was my main entree. I ate everything since it was so delicious.
Severs are very friendly and its a nice atmosphere at the restaurant with nice decor. Really a great place!
