Great place to have breakfast/ brunch. Excellent staff and lovely cocktails, good atmosphere
Back again for our annual StreetCorner Gourmets charity event with Yes Solutions Inc to benefit the less fortunate in the Harlem area. #Thanksgivingonthestreet
FANTASTIC brunch! Delicious food, great atmosphere and decor, and great service. Ordered the buttermilk pancakes and steak & eggs. Both were delicious in their own ways but the combination was spectacular for sharing. The steak and eggs was quite the standout, seasoned and cooked very well. The garlicky tater tot sticks? were mind blowing and I'm now obsessed with them and will be sure to get them every time I come back here.
Coffee was also really good. Overall, no complaints.
So glad this place is back after closing for a long time due to covid and can't wait to come here many more times, especially for brunch and happy hour..
Had a lovely brunch! Came at 10 and we didn’t have to wait. The pancakes are so fluffy and delicious. Everyone was happy with their meals.
Love the wholesome clean feel you get when you walk in. We had so little time for lunch, like thirty minutes, and let the waitress know that we're are short on time. Luckily we were also a bit early for lunch and it wasn't as busy. The food came out in record time. The salad was delicious, wholesome, and filling, and the sandwich was also delicious. The complementary sparkling water was just what we needed cause we were thirty! Excellent find in a location we weren't familiar with.
Yummy breakfast but omg lactose intolerance ppl, beware they charge $2 extra for oat milk instead of regular milk with coffee 😭 which not mentioned on the menu.
First time visit of this small, family-friendly restaurant. Had a brunch on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. and the place was about 70~80% full already – seems to be a popular eatery for locals.
Food: the fried chicken & cheddar waffle was outstanding – the skin was crisp, non-greasy, tasty with just a pinch of spice while the inside was tender and moist. Pairing the savory fried chickens with hot cheddar waffle that was crispy outside and airy inside and you got an amazing dish! This is one of those dishes seems simple but actually is hard to perfect; in this case I think Firedman’s executes well and hits all the right notes.
Service: waiting staffs were courteous, professional and efficient. The wait-time between order placed (two main courses plus one side) and foods-on-the-table took about 20 minutes, which I consider it was reasonable.
Atmosphere: Given that this is a small restaurant with tight space, I won’t be surprised that the noise, or the energy level one might argue, could be high while it’s crowded. If you are looking for a bit quiet or intimate dining experience, then this place may not be suitable for you.
Price: For brunch menu, the pricing is reasonable. Majority of the items are around $15 plus/minus $3. Sides are within $6 plus/minus $2 range.
This was a great place for our first experience of food in New York. We went with the recommendation to choose a place with good reviews and stars. We were not disappointed by this restaurant, the food was excellent, and the service was outstanding!
