Food and service was great! Sammy was our server out on the back patio. If it's not too cold out, I recommend sitting outside. I took my mom there for brunch and it would've been way too loud for us inside. Mimosas were pretty weak but Sammy went back and had them fix the champs to oj ratio a bit. Couldn't believe how fair the prices were for NYC, but it's cash only!
I'm having good time at PMF on regular basis : food is fantastic, drinks well shaked and the atmosphere is amazing. On top of that the staff is always very welcoming :D
I LOVE the small, bistro feeling as though I were back in France!! Great food, fabulous cocktails and very friendly, polite, attentive staff! Can't wait to go for the 'famous' brunch!!! yummy, yummy.....
Went there for Saturday bottomless brunch. The Food is amazing and the drinks are even better I could not even decide between my mimosa and the bloody Caesar. I want to thank the Chef for the laugh and the picture since I was there for my bachelorette party. The customer service was good my waiter was amazing and the fact that they really do speak French is a plus!!!
I'm actually going here tonight, but even before going I have had one of the best customer service experiences from PMF.
I'm a vegetarian, and when I found out my team will be going here tonight, I checked the menu and saw they don't offer any vegetarian entrees. I emailed them earlier today asking if they'd be able to make something for me. I just received a reply from them ten minutes after they opened for the night saying they'd be happy to put together a "cauliflower steak with pine nuts with turmeric sauce." I am blown away by this! 5 stars for this level of personal service alone, and if this is any indication of their food quality, I am in for a treat tonight! Thanks PMF!
So authentic and tasty! They only take cash so go prepared but it is so amazing! Especially the brunch; they're Bloody Marys are so unique and delicious!
A bottomless brunch that actually delivers! Have been to many boozy brunch places in NY that really stiff you on the boozy part, but here my cup runneth over, very happy and will definitely be back!
A beautiful french bistro with a delicious menu taking after different cultures. The speak easy is stunning and the perfect size to be able to hear your friends and still feel that warm, coziness that every great speak easy offers. The cocktails are to die for. The range of infusions & different spice/herbs they have and incorporate into each cocktail is very impressive and leaves you wanting one more.
Dîner génial. Ambiance parfaite. Anthonin le patron à l écoute et surtout on mange super bien avec une carte des vins comme on les aime. Un fond musical top.
Yesterday I went with my friend for Brunch. The food was so savored. Service, and attention were fabulous.
Our first time here, for my birthday. Really friendly service, tasty food, lovely ambiance. We'll be back!
This is my No.1 restaurant in New York City. I have friends from Australia & the UK come to visit all the time, I take here & they talk about this night as their favorite! Such great food/drinks & the energy is contagious! I LOVE PMF x

My Daughter lives in the neighborhood. We came in a few Saturday's ago. Place was very busy. We sat out back on a most beautiful fall night. We had a few cocktails and small plates. When I tell you the food was FANTASTIC. We raved over it. Service was superb. We had a fresh Bibb Salad, it was delish. Homemade. Gnocchi, carpaccio, and a few other things. Can't wait to bring my friends back. This is 5 Starr all the way.
**Note: this place is cash-only!
Amazing bottomless mimosa experience. The service was great - we did make a reservation, but even though it was a busy Saturday we were seated quickly. Our drinks were served first, and we only had to wait maybe 15 minutes before our food came out. The food itself was fantastic, tasted very delicious. I had the Eggs Scandinavian, my partner got the Tunisian Eggs. My partner's only complaint was that it felt light, so if you want a fuller brunch I'd recommend getting a third dish to split if you're with someone. (It was enough for me but I was also full of mimosas.)
All the girls were Paris dreaming, so French cafe and brunch meant only j'adore! The brioche French toast and the avocado toast were perfect. I tried a bite of the Tunisian eggs, my goodness, I'll have to be back for an individual portion of those! Oh, don't miss out on the fresh OJ.
Lovely, lively, and fun Birthday Brunch on the patio! We had a reservation for one PM and were sat immediately. Wonderful service. Ordered: Egg’s Benedict- was good- eggs perfectly poached. Steak Frites- crispy fries & steak was cooked as ordered, med-rare and tasty. Tunisian eggs was good- probably wouldn’t order again….but enjoyed something different. Waitress was lovely & attentive. Ordered Bottomless mimosas & Bloody Marys- not very boozy but we enjoyed them. This is not the place for a ‘cheap boozy brunch’ - the bottomless brunch limits you to the front of the menu items… so be aware before you go. Inside was very loud so we were happy to be on patio, which I had requested at time of reservation; it’s adorable and more quiet but still fun. Had Aperol Spritz after brunch and they were probably best ones I’ve ever had. Sorry, we ate our food before getting photos. We Would definitely go back. The staff rocks!
Amazing ambiance & food & drinks & service!
Even the butter that comes with bread tastes like heaven. I haven't had burger this tasty since Au Chevel closed. Their truffle fries genuinely tasted like truffle which was finger licking good. PARDON MY FRENCH IS THE ANSWER. Their beautiful, attentive server named Kayla deserves recognition as well. SHE LOOKS LIKE DUA LIPA! XD
Customer service alone is 5 stars. Part of our group was late so they couldn’t seat us but the host got those of us there waiting mimosas while we waited. We ended up losing our table so took us longer to get a table when our full group arrived. Most places would put the blame on us but the host was apologetic for the wait and was constantly checking in to see if we needed drinks and if we were okay. When we finally sat down, our server was extremely attentive and got our orders in quickly and the food was delicious. Definitely will be going back.
Great atmosphere, vintage signs all over the garden. Indoors very beautiful. Service was great. Attentive and prompt. Good times were had by all who came here in this French bistro just off Tomkin's Square Park...
Steak au poivre and burrata with tomato and deviled eggs so good. Definitely want to come back to the garden backyard with some puppy friends one day too
Came here for an early 6:30 dinner before heading over to the Blind Barber for a comedy show. We were the only patrons at the time and it took 90 minutes to get two appetizers and one entree we shared.
However, the service was very professional, friendly and the food was delicious .. and the manager apologized for the unusually slow service.
Salmon Fume was super fresh and served with mini blinis -- a perfect little bite.
Octopus ala plancha was among the better versions I've had in NYC. Charred on the outside but still tender and with perfect seasoning -- not bland yet not overwhelming the taste of the octopus.
We shared the rib-eye for two. Beautiful presentation and very tasty. The beef really shines through, although there is a bernaise sauce for those that want it. It comes with a salad with a marvelous vinaigrette and creamy mashed potatoes (thicker, richer than you might imagine).
Didn't have any drinks and we did not have time for dessert or coffee. It was also too cool, damp to sit outside in their back patio which looks very inviting.
Despite the slow service, I'd definitely come back to try a few more things on the menu.
As an aside, when we left, the restaurant was filling up and the front bar was full -- looks like a friendly place to stop by if you're on your own and grab a bite at the bar.
