A great place to eat out in Harlem. Our Bed & Breakfast on 139th Street meant that one of the greatest places to eat in Harlem was literally just around the corner. A previous blogger has written that a 20 % gratuity is automatically added but that is certainly not the case today. The service was excellent and the southern fried chicken, macaroni cheese and collard greens were delicious and probably the best in NY. If any of your plans whilst in NYC take you uptown then do yourself a big favor and visit Londels

DELIGHTFUL & DELICIOUS!. I'm BIG on Customer Service...I don't care how good the food is> In this case...I was not disappointed! I made reservations for a Saturday evening. When we got there, they knew my name, had our table ready and the service was the best! The food was delicious and my date was treated to a lovely slice of pie for his birthday. The Jazz trio had it "goin on". Londel's is a great date place. I'll be back!
Loud atmosphere but food was great. I have to say i was on a date and was impressed with decor but was thrown off by the level of noise in the resturant, i would of loved to enjoy my company but we made the best of it over all, i would go back with the hopes the noise level has decreased
