I've been coming here for years. This place never disappoints. The prices are in keeping with what you get. Any detractors should go to a fast food restaurant. I highly recommend this place for ambiance and authentic flavor!
The ropa vieja was to die for, best I've tasted in a long time. Even the Moro rice was seasoned and flavorful. Well worth it.
A lovely place, good...no great food, and the staff the best
Yesterday we dined at Alma de Cuba. What a great place. The Lechon needed a little more flavor but the flan was outstanding. The experience of the night was when I was taking back to my childhood in Pinal del Rio by the smells. The waiter brought us cafe and complimentary cigars and it transported me back home.

Brunch here is always great, amazing food, recommend this place to everyone...
Awesome!!! Always consistent, always delicious, awesome service!! The best tres leches in the world!! Now if they can bring back the coconut tres leches, the world will be a better place!!!
Authentic vibe & atmosphere (wish we knew there was an outside courtyard)
brunch menu/food & presentation....outstanding,
great service & very reasonable cost....will definitely go back for dinner!
Food was great, service was really good. Live music added to the Latin ambience. The evening spent here was worthwhile. We are definitely coming back to this spot.
Excellent food, drinks, and atmosphere. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a romantic date spot or just getting together with friends.

Place is delish! Highly recommend. Staff was nice, drinks stayed full, and the food came out hot. Cant complain
The food here is pure heaven. The items cost half of what they should cost.
!Amor!. The Sunday brunch here is fantastic (beware the Blueberry Caipirina!:) The Ropa Vieja, Salmon, Eggs Benedict...everything just terrific. Small but relaxed space, gets a bit loud the more of the unlimited cocktails begin to kick in, but otherwise terrific. Will definitely be back

Unreal!!!! This is the best Cuban I've ever had!!!
Viva Cuba!. This is my favorite Cuban restaurant in all New York (and I'm pretty sure that I've tried them all). I have never had a bad experience here! The food and the service has always been wonderful. Their Ropa Vieja is hands-down fabulous!
Havana Alma de Cuba. Cuban Cuisine at its finest...read and heard bout the place so i decided to go with ma lady and give it a try a little hard to find at first, i barely be in west village but Christopher St. is definitely a cool area kinda reminds me a bit of parkslope in bklyn, but eventually got in and was seated by da courteous staff and sat by da band that was playing but somehow i expected a bigger place a lil cramp but nonetheless i'm hea for da food so good food wins and this place does its job. I order the tostones rellenos was pretty good to start off and came out pretty fast and followed up with the Churrasco with yuca very juicy and not overcook like some place i had and she had the Cazuela Marinera (i hope i spelled it right) is like a paella without the rice so i had to order a side dish of rice and beans the only downside but this dish had a sauce so good that i finish it up on top of the rice and almost drank it like it was soup lol, btw great white sangria and ended with a cafe con leche and there famous tres leche, everything was good and decent portion but comparing to other Latin restaurant i been to this one is a bit pricier but i would definitely go back when i can, they even have a outdoor garden in the back pretty cozy if u on a date so if u in da area give it a try.
Very nice atmosphere with reasonable prices. Presentation of food was excellent with pleasant service. Empanadas were tasty.
Good Restaruant. The service and ambiance are good. Price is reasonable. The appetizer is delicious. But the entrees is OK. It lacked of flavor. It is not the best. I would definitely go back.
One of things I love about Latin food is the experience. As soon as you sit down to a meal, it’s a party. But can you have a party on a budget We think you can. Havana Alma De Cuba is a little hole in the wall, tucked away in the West Village. When you walk in, you are immediately greeted with a smile. The bright colored walls and music playing in the background, create a happy atmosphere. It’s what I would picture a restaurant in Havana to look like. After studying the menu, I decide to order – Paella Valenciana. Paella is a 1 pot wonder. Rice, Shrimp, Scallops, Calamari, Clams, Mussels, Chicken, Chorizo, Peppers and Peas. Or as I like to call it: “The Kitchen Sink.” This dish really has a little bit of everything for everyone. The seafood was sweet and tasted like the sea. The chicken was moist and tender. But combined with the peppery chorizo, it’s the perfect combination. I would have liked a little hot sauce on the side, to give it a little more kick. One of my big pet peeves is s
I have 2 words for you: grilled corn. This charming cuban spot off Bleecker has the best grilled corn I have ever had: succulent, flavorful, fresh. I could order batches of it for snacking. Aside from the grilled corn, this restaurant is a true gem. Wheth
