The crudo was the stuff of dreams. The fish was so fresh it melted in the mouth. The bread basket was like a treasure trove. The bomboloni had a perfect consistency and great flavor. The crab pasta was good, buttery just in moderation.

Great food & service! Make sure you try their chocolate soufflé after your meal. It is HEAVENLY. Shout out to “Jean” - great server!

What a great experience! The waiter was so helpful and knowledgeable! The foie was outstanding, the lobster pasta cooked nicely, and ooohhhh that white truffle risotto. How can you go wrong?

The best meal I have had in recent memory. The beet and burrata salad was perfectly seasoned. I had the wild mushroom ravioli in a red pepper sauce. Perfect balance of flavors. The mushrooms were delicious and fragrant. Dessert was tartufo and so good. There were several small surprises like the bread basket which was large and high variety. An olive bowl. Small petite desserts on the side of our ordered desserts. The service was attentive and impeccable. Highly recommend.

WOW!! One of our fav Italian on UES. This is Italian perfection. She is Italian and is hard to please but she loves this place every time. When you get to desserts you MUST have the chocolate soufflé and the Italian crème they make in a huge copper pot (Not on the menu and I forget what it is called but it is yummy). The Lobster pasta has so much lobster in it I could barely finish it and it is done perfectly with tomato sauce. She had the risotto which is heavy and large should could easily be a shared dish. I LOVE soup so I had 3 different kinds. All were awesome including a chilled watermelon and a hot peach soup. Spectacular. The tartrate app is amazing as well. The room in the back with the glass ceiling is nice if you can get it. Check out the photos, they tell the whole story. Top notch all the way. Check out all of our reviews. What can one say about this place? We went there to celebrate my mom’s birthday. From the moment we booked out reservation, to the time we left, we left that everyone knew us and knew that my mom had her birthday. Everything felt so warm and genuine. The ambience is heavenly. Such an elegant place, without the buzz of being overly fancy. The art pieces, the flowers, everything there is designed perfectly to take you back to italy or if want to say, back to the old new york, the one we know from the old movies. The food was great with so many specials that made it difficult what to choose. The wine selection is spectacular and the desserts were such a wonderful aftertaste. Many many thanks to the entire crew that was so warm and genuine and made our dinner and my mom’s birthday so special. We will definitely come back.

Everything you would expect from a high end NYC restaurant: Impeccable service, great cocktails, and superb food. Even the breads were noteworthy. Listen carefully when the wait person tells you the specials, as the list is almost as long as the regular menu and it is not written down. Most patrons were at least a little dressed up (think sport coats on the men), but a significant minority were more casual. Our dinner for two came to $360 before tip for two cocktails, one glass of wine, two appetizers, two pasta dishes, and two desserts.
