Went here a few years ago and it was delicious. Service and food were on point, perfectly done. It was also the first time I had an egg cream, so that was cool too! 10/10, I recommend Hector’s!

Every time I’m near the west side I stop by to have breakfast here. They never disappoint, and prices are very reasonable given the location. Staff is friendly, owner is friendly and food came out quickly. Will continue to support them !

Absolutely love this spot ... have only ever been for breakfast but it’s great value -good portions of bacon or sausage and eggs perfectly done. Never found the staff rude, though I usually like to sit at the counter and talk with them. One of the last of its kind in the city, certainly the last in the area. Long may it continue

I thought this was a hole in the wall from the exterior, but it's surprisingly spacious inside. Underneath the Highline, by far the best value in the neighborhood!!! Straightforward, solid diner food. I had eggs, sausage, rice and beans yummy! The burgers served to my neighbors looked delicious. One of the few restaurants that has survived the crazy changes in the Meatpacking District, come support this NYC institution, then walk off the calories on the Highline!!!

After taking the red-eye into the city, I thought walking the High Line would be a good idea. Suddenly, I was famished and in need of sustenance. Hector’s was one of the only places open at 7:30 a.m. on a Saturday. The pancakes hit the spot; eggs were fried to perfection; the sausage, although slightly charred was delicious.
