If you're looking for a gluten free menu with a variety of choices this is the place. My wife loves their gluten free dumplings. Full menu and their regular stuff ain't bad either
Best dumplings I've ever had! The restaurant was very knowledgeable and accommodating for gluten free
Being gluten free, it has been a long time since I have been able to have dumplings and special sushi rolls. Everyone at Lilli and Loo's was knowledgeable and helpful. The food was amazingly delicious. Thank you for making such a great and safe selection of gluten free food!
The variety on the gluten free menu is unbelievable and the gluten free food is among the best I've ever had. I love it!!
Really enjoyed the Won Ton soup, and the sesame chicken & brown rice!

I'm so grateful they have a gluten free menu in addition to the extensive "regular" menu. The GF food is DELICIOUS.
I was at Lilli and Loos today with my family! Their gluten free food was amazing! Everything we tried was good! I highly recommend it.
One of the best Chinese food restaurant in Tri state area
Excellent! Great regular & gluten free menus.
As someone with Celiac and Other Food Intolerances, dining out is VERY difficult. Lilli and Loo is a safe place I can eat at when I go to the city where I not only feel comfortable, but like I'm getting the royal treatment - the food is amazing and so is the service, TODAY, I was given an umbrella, because ti was pouring when I left, THANK YOU LILLI AND LOO <3
I tried this place on my first night in the city, I tried the Pad Thai Noodles with chicken, it was very rich in chicken and the portion was enough quite good. The service was relatively slow but our dishes arrived at the same time
Cozy place with a modern decor.
Service was a bit slow and dishes were not that good. The best dish was the Kung Pao Beef, very spicy yet very tasty.
They should work on service and quality!
We ate here last September (Labor Day weekend 2014) while in NYC for several days. Just north of Hunter College, on Lexington, this restaurant had gotten raves from GF diners on "Find Me Gluten-Free" so we gave it a go. The GF menu was so large that we figured there had been a mistake and that we had been given the wrong ones. Gluten-free dumplings! Gluten-free ribs! A fantastic gluten-free shrimp and honeyed walnut dish with lots of crunchy veg! And gluten-free desserts! The dumplings were excellent but we found the ribs a bit dry but that was probably because we ordered the boneless ones. We'll be ordering the bone-in ones next time. I particularly enjoyed the shrimp dish with its lightly breaded shrimp and crunchy walnuts and crisply crunchy veggies both because it was truly delicious and because, in my experience, it was an unusual offering for a gluten-free menu. We finished our meal by splitting a delicious pecan tart (GF of course!). All of the dishes were generous but not huge. We split the four dishes I mentioned between the two of us and left with satisfactorily full but not stuffed tummies and hugely impressed wth the service and GF variety offered.
If you are not an urban dweller you might find the tables a bit close together but I felt it was a typical Manhattan layout. Possibly a bit more spacious than some. The interior is quiet and elegant with white linen tablecloths. Tables line the long wall opposite the door. A long bar lines the wall the other long side of this narrow storefront. There is additional seating upstairs.
Enjoyable. Cozy upstairs with airy feel, modern decor and presentation on familiar classic chinese-american food. flavors mild not as spicy as one might favor, though we enjoyed all our selections: 3 delights sizzling, kung pao chicken, peanut chicken satay, udon noodles, hot sake.
I'm Lulu About Lilli and Loo!. We had a real lulu of a day! First, we stopped at tu lu’s Gluten Free Bakery in Downtown, New York for a snack, then it was off to Lilli and Loo’s in Uptown, New York for dinner! =)
Lilli and Loo Chinese Asian Cuisine and Sushi Bar wins the award for best atmosphere, food, presentation and service during my brief stay in New York! As an added bonus, they offer an amazing gluten free menu with lots of choices! I ordered the Hard Rock, a sushi roll with spicy rock shrimp tempura, mango, scallion, topped with avocado and served with ponzu sauce on the side! It was absolutely delicious! If you’re lulu for Asian food, you must dine at Lilli and Loo! If you don’t, you’re a lunatic! =)
Toodle-loo for now!

Excellent gluten free dumplings. I have never seen GF dumplings anywhere before. Definitely give them a try if you’re in the area.
Great food, affordable prices, excellent customer service and great options to choose from! They also cater for those that are gluten-free. Definitely recommend to everyone!

Fantastic place to dine! Delicious food, especially the ribs, shrimp fried rice and teas! Comfortable decor and friendly waitstaff.Tasty Gluten free food available! And the large portions are great too!
Gluten free Chinese food is hard to find. They do it, and they do it with consistency and great care. Is it Insta-worthy, or interesting? No. But Lili and Loo an exceptionally safe choice, and if you’ve got gluten issues like I do, you know that that’s a huge compliment. They’ve NEVER made me sick, and I’ve been eating there for four years now.
I stop in every time I’m in the neighborhood…. And if you’re as visibly trans as I am, you know that being up here is an exhausting clockfest, so I’m grateful to have this safe space.
Went for the gluten free options and will be back! Tasty! Flavorful! Fresh! Well priced! Face and friendly service!
