These guys make a really nice Chai Latte with real tea leaves, not sugar loaded powder. Very authentic flavour, not overpoweringly sweet. Located close to Columbus Circle, Central Park South.
They make wonderful teas and have good, fast service. I definitely choose this over almost every other tea place in the area. Everyone is friendly and the teas are delicious!
The tea drinks are original and refreshing and the tea selection allows anyone to bag their own. I love their foundation of ethically and fair-traded teas! Just don't try mixing the flavors-- it'll confuse the workers..
We stumbled across Argo Tea while walking to find a pharmacy. As a result, half of us ventured in while the others walked to the Duane Reade d own the street. We meant to just walk in to check out their arrangement of loose leaf teas for sale, but got roped into getting a few drinks. Argo Tea Location: 1792 Broadway (corner of Broadway and W 58th St) New York NY 10019 Hours: Monday to Friday: 6am to 11pm Saturday: 7am to 11pm Sunday: 7am to 10pm Price: ¢ Atmosphere: Casual Service: Friendly A menu full of their signature drinks as well as seasonal ones was prominently displayed at the front, and the names of their teas coupled with the fact that it was so humid convinced us to try some. They also offer bubble tea, but I’m not sure how it would pair with their drinks or even if the tapioca is good… so I refrained. I got an iced Earl Grey vanilla creme which was milky and satisfying. The flavour of the tea was strong and was sweetened just e
Then, I discovered the iced heaven at Argo Tea Café known as “Carolina Honey.” Doesn’t that just sound like a refreshing way to start your day? How could it not be a great morning when you have a glass of Carolina Honey with you? The more I think about it, the more I think it sounds like a name for a country music band. According to the website description, Carolina Honey is black tea that is mixed with honey, lemon juice, and cane sugar. I tried it the first morning we were there and then ordered the exact same thing the next two mornings. Many people would probably say it was too sweet but I thought it was excellent, with a hint of lemon and the natural sweetness of the honey.
Awesome tea shop with great food options. Love this place. So many amazing teas. Definitely try the hibiscus lemonade. It's excellent.
It's in a great location right across from the time Warner center.
I may be biased because I love tea and have never been to a shop just for tea, but I loved it! The variety of drinks like a coffee shop but all tea made me excited to order something new! (They do have coffee if you want it too.) The feta and spinach pastry was very good. That plus an Earl Grey hit the spot for breakfast. And you can buy loose leaf tea to take home! I just wish I had an Argo Tea closer to me. Come to Baltimore!
Love the tea options here. Great location and reasonable prices.
