Num Pang is a great place to get a quick Cambodian sandwich or salad for lunch or dinner. The sandwiches are fresh and feature unique ingredients, such as pickled carrots and Thai eggplant spread. There are also a wide variety of bottled beverages to quench your thirst and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable if you need more information about the Cambodian specialties. I am partial to the salads which are served in easy to carry take-out containers for eating outdoors on nice days or taking home for dinner. Every salad includes special accompaniments to complement the flavors of the ingredients. The sandwiches are great too- served on fresh baked bread with a crust that adds a big of crispness without being too chewy for easy eating. If you want to eat on site, there is a large dining room with an urban-art feel that provides interesting things to look at while you eat. The dining room is always clean on my visits, even when the restaurant is busy.

Great bang for your buck! Large portion sizes on rice bowls and sandwiches. That yogurt sauce is magical. Easy place to get lunch or dinner on the go. I love to order to go and eat outside of Madison Square Park.

I tried two num pangs, one in Chelsea Market and one in the financial district. Chelsea Market was definitely better. It might be the same food but environment matters too, and Chelsea Market is gorgeous - all that exposed brick and the exhilaration of being in the heart of a hotbed of food places, can't be beat.  I had the hoisin meatball sandwich - super tasty, great condiments and the warm soft bread roll was the perfect finishing touch.

Maybe best sandwich ever. This review is actually written about the location in Chelsea Market, which I can't find on Urbanspoon and which I found quite by accident. We were holidaying in New York and I wanted to find a location of Num Pang for lunch. My wife wanted to go to Chelsea Market. Luckily for me, there was a location in Chelsea Market. I have now eaten at this location on a couple of visits to NYC. It may make the best sandwich I have ever eaten. My daughter (20) had the Coconut Shrimp sandwich and swears it is the best she has ever eaten. I had the 5 Spice Pork Belly sandwich and it was fabulous. Blood Orange Lemonade was terrific. Service was fast and very friendly. A great experience and I will be back every time I visit NYC.

Ginger brisket. Whoa. Anyplace that serves Sriracha as a condiment to go has got to be good. Sandwich was awesome. Yay.

Tasty Sandwiches. Ordered take out on a Friday night. We had the pickles, pork belly sandwich and the ginger brisket barbecue sandwich. Everything was so good! My favorite was the ginger brisket sandwich the portion of the brisket was HUGE! The bread, vegetables and sauces were all delicious. Only downfall was the redhead with glasses I think, at the register who was NOT friendly whatsoever- (got our order and shoved receipt on counter saying "sign this" thought she was talking to the man in front of us which she wasn't so she says again "sign this" no smile, no facial expression, no have a nice evening, nothing. We left the restaurant wondering what her deal was.

I love going to Chelsea Market every time I’m in NYC because of all the different little eateries I can try!  This time, I stopped by Num Pang Sandwich Shop to get their special five-spice glazed pork belly banh mi. Five-spice glazed pork belly banh mi Biting through the crispy bread, a tsunami wave of multiple Asian flavors filled my mouth.  And after that, I couldn’t stop taking bites until there was nothing left!  Even after that, I was debating on whether or not to get another…  But watching everyone around me eat all their raw, vegan and organic foods from One Lucky Duck , I felt a bit too guilty to, even though I thought my sandwich could have used a bit more pork belly! Blood orange lemonade To wash down my banh mi, I got a very refreshing blood orange lemonade.  I loved the overly sour taste to it! Tips: DO NOT ask for modifications to the sandwiches.  This shop is not made for those who have picky taste buds (whether it’s preference or

Great food. The roasted cauliflower sandwich was delicious, my only complaint is its almost impossible to eat the sandwich without making a giant mess lol. Otherwise great food and great service.

I bought three sandwiches yesterday and it was good. Pulled pork, Roasted chicken, Pork belly. I think pork belly was best. Soft inside crispy outside and pretty juicy. Well balance with bread. Chicken was little dry but not too bad. Simple concept and tasty cambodian sandwich shop.

Awesome place for a quick bite!!! The sandwich I got was 5 spices pork and the bread-to-meat ratio was crazy. Very savoury 😋. Chili Mayo all day!! Looking forward to my next sandwich. I definitely recommend this place.

Everything at Num Pang is done so well! Whether it’s their marinated tofu or their brisket, the proteins at Num Pang are all delicious. The bowls are so good and so is their elote and other sides. Get extra meat and you definitely won’t regret it! Seriously LOOOVE Num Pang and it’s one of my go to fast casual chains in the city.

Their food is amazing. Love it. I wish they wouldn’t put as much dressing on it, either way, it’s really good.

One of my go-to places for lunch! The chimi chicken sandwich is so yummy. In particular, the bread they use is really good. 🥖 The line is also very fast moving so if it looks long, don’t worry too much.

Delicious sandwiches prepared quickly! This is a great place for something efficient and pleasantly different than a burger. I wish there was a Num Pang near where I live on Long Island.

Cambodian style sandwich shop. . Pork belly sandwich was amazing. Pork belly was very tender and flavorful. Carros and other vegetables went along well with the pork belly. Baguette was crispy and not too hard to eat through.
