Delicious. We just happen to be by the area and decided to eat here since we were hungry and I’m so glad that we did! That ouzi is a must!!!! The smell was so enticing and I just love carrots and raisins in my rice. We did outdoor seating but the inside is so nice! We have to go back!
middle eastern food, yeah, awesome. I give this spot two thumbs up. Next time I'll be back with my coworkers. The bill was well within reason for the quality. Kinda of like a place in Houston that I enjoyed.
Outstanding scene for tasty middle eastern food. I wanted to post a food pic but it looked so good I couldn't stop. The service was sociable and attentive.
I came yesterday for dinner with 4 friends. We ordered 5 dishes to share. I really liked the babaganoush and another dish that had curry. The rest were average. There was a dish that had grilled shrimps that tasted amazing but the lamb sausage was was too strong for me.
The service was slow but really friendly and patient which is great for covid times. We had a couple of beautiful Moroccan tables on the side walk. The street has a lot of cars and ambulances passing by but not a lot of people walking so that's good.
In terms of drinks, we all agreed that none of the alcoholic drinks that had mint really tasted minty. My mango mojito didn't taste like a mojito at all. It was like mango juice with rum and a few mint leaves. So I would improve the drinks. We shared baklava for dessert which was delicious but a bit oily. We ended up spending around $30 per person which I think is pretty good for NYC. It was a nice experience.
The appetizers were bomb, the curry chicken eggplant was amazing. I would go back
Middle Eastern food and the atmosphere here is quality. The bill won't break you.

I deeply LOOOVE this place!! Had no idea how good it is before going there but I got amazed once I walked in the door. Cozy and exotic decoration, beautiful, warm, comfortable, relaxing. And the food was amazing! Even the air smelled delicious! Everything was fresh, authentic and yummy! There was a great customer group too, all looked like well-educated regular visitors, artsy and full of soul. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We stayed very late that night but she was still helping us. A full-star place, I'll definitely go there again and again!!!
