The food here was AMAZING as was the service! I would highly recommend ordering family style as the portions are perfect for sharing. The Brussel sprouts and cauliflower dishes were very good and I loved the white truffle risotto. The celery cocktail was to die for too.

Service is fast and pleasant. Nice atmosphere and food tasted good. I was there for brunch and it was a nice experience. Not a place for pictures as the lighting isn't the best.

One of the best bars in NYC! Love this place for amazing quality drinks, nice atmosphere and great location. Can we quite busy at times so try to get a reservation. Great place to bring a date as it is fancy but not not over the top. Ask them about history of the place, they will give you a little book that you can read and keep as a souvenir.

"Look up and lose yourself in history". Yes that's what you could do when you get there. room is in one of the iconic building in NYC. They have roomy sections, they could accommodate 10 of us in the same area so we could do a small after work hours gathering. Although it was packed it was not as noisy. It's a cool place to go.

Even though we have been to the Temple Room before and our experiences varied from one time to another, the last brunch, on an August Saturday, was a great experience. Beautiful cool jazz and salon music (piano, voice and a flute), relaxing atmosphere and great food. We would like to particularly mention two great desserts, BAKED ALASKA and very unusual WATERMELON SORBET (jalapeno pepper, smoked salt). The steamed mussels, steak tartare, and the tuna salad were all very good too. The service should be improved, for our waitress completely misrepresented the tuna salad assuring us the tuna was seared (it wasn't, just a regular canned tuna, by any account not seared) but we wouldn't hold that against the restaurant. The fantastic view to the Beekman Hotel's atrium and quirky decor paying tribute to Edgar Allan Poe add a very special charm to the entire experience.
