Presentation worthy of food commercials! The foodstuffs seem somewhat pricey, but I guess that one is paying for the location’s prime real estate. Always busy with patrons enjoying coffee, danishes and hot coco before or after trips by railroad and subway.
Always good coffee- regardless of the blend- smooth and just right. Love the mini financier bites you get to accompany the coffee. Their pastries are also wonderful like in France. Cookies are really good too.
Best. Apple Galette. Ever! Thin sliced juicy apples, flaky crust, glazed to perfection! I had to get one every day I was in NYC.
I loved the macaroni from here. It was just fantastic. The opera caked looked fantastic but was alright. I would definitely go back to try their croissants and pies.
I've been here numerous times and haven't had a bad experience. Everyone is super nice and their parties are fresh and super yummy! I've tried a few of their delicious cakes but my favorite has been the white chocolate raspberry cake. Soooo good!
They said they had won the grand prix 2018 for best croissant, and I could see why! The chocolate and cream filled beignets were also absurdly good. We also had the almond and apple tart (moist and very almond-y, with a crumbly pastry) and a chocolate éclair (definitely the worst of our options, but still good). The coffee and hot chocolate (very thick and creamy!) were also excellent.
