I'm extremely satisfied with Schaller's Stube Sausage Bar. Very cool scene. Pretty much every item that we purchased was extra fresh and tasty. Overall, a great place to eat good German food. I would come back again!
I celebrated my PhD earlier this evening in this great restaurant. Well we passed a brilliant evening and the place was definitely one of the reasons for the strong event. The team collaborated in a lovely manner, the meals were delicious and my buddies were extremely delighted. We shall surely come back again for more joyful events. Thank you very much.
Amazing environment and super personal service. The menu was fresh and delightful. Will surely recommend this place to friends and family. Fair prices and big portions. Great job.
Absolute favorite spot of mine. I may have tried every sausage on the menu and have not found a flaw in a single one. There are two in particular that I get most often, one with rueben toppings and another with burger-like toppings but I can never remember the names. Delightful place to swing by and grab a delicious and filling meal.
Some of the best hot dogs and fried chicken I’ve ever had. The food was quick to come out and during these cold months they have a few seats inside with a heater so you can escape the cold. During these COVID times its one of the few places as of now where you can get a quick bite and duck inside instead of eating outside.
Forget about ordering a sad NYC streetcart frank, this is where its at. I paid $11 for a fat glizzy and there were no regrets. Its extremely filling. One of these is about 2 normal hotdogs. Ordered the Saigon special and immediately felt guilty that we went to war with both Germany and Vietnam. I really appreciate Scaller's Stube's effort with something new
Blume review-
Not only is this place a hidden gem but the staff is extremely passionate.
While it make take some time to get a table, the staff sets up realistic expectations about wait time and even allow you to order drinks as you wait.
Can’t wait to visit now that they changed their patio for the winter.
The staff was very friendly and kindly offered his opinion when I asked about which hotdog to order as a first timer. He recommended the Classic and the Currywurst, I ended up getting the Classic, however I think I made a wrong choice. It came with a pretzel bun, which I liked, the sausage was tasty but overall the dog tastes a bit bland. I figured it might just be my personal preference issue since I always preferred a lil extra salt, so the sausage is not salty enough to me, also the toppings of this dog are light in flavor. I assume their other options might be stronger and heavier in terms of flavor. It is definitely a high quality sausage with real meat, not those cheap starchy hot dogs you get from the food trucks. I would like to try their other hot dogs and hopefully I make a better choice next time!
