Food carts are awesome in NYC. The Biryani cart does an AMA zing job of making authentic dishes in such a small space.
I usually get chicken biryani with all of the sauces. You will find that it actually has all of the ingredients like cinnamon, star anise and other spices that you will find as you eat it. For $7, it is one of the best meals you will have in the city.
My brother introduced this place to me and it's great. He wasn't sure where it was located but he said "just use your nose" cos you will smell it's inviting aroma and will lead you to the cart. We found the place and ordered the Briyani. Great portion big enough to share and fill you up
So delicious! We tried the other carts around like halal guys and this guy is the best priced and lists his price. Not like the other carts that don't have a price list and you can easily get ripped off. Not only that but the other carts are not as tasty as his. 2 night in New York and have been twice already.
The chicken tikka kathi roll was yum. Spicy juicy filling and a crumbly maida paratha rolled around it. Like a cross between a Nizam kathi roll in Delhi and a Bombay frankie.
I like the Kati rolls here a lot better than The Kati Roll Company. $7 for two rolls which are bigger, juicier, and cheaper. The roti is so buttery and flaky. If you are looking for a cheap, filling, and a NY experience, grab a bite here. Warning, it's a little messy to eat, but it's worth it.
Both the chicken and lamb rolls were great!
Best Biryani and Gyro in Times Square area.
A favorite location for Cheap food. It has a good feel to it.
BEST OPTION FOR SPICY BIRYANI LOVERS,
SPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE TIRED OF EATING SAME CHICKEN WITH RICE OR GYRO WITH "WHITE SAUCE" ON EVERY CORNER OF NYC.
Best Indian food you can get from a cart, staff is super friendly, too.
Delicious and good service
