The best place to get a drink after attending an event at the Javits Center. It's a large space with plenty of seating and some really good mixologists at the bar. The soothing decor and the ample room make this a nice counter-balance to a long day at the Javits Center.
They have surprisingly good food for a bar. It's limited, but what they carry is gold. On Mondays they have live music (think old school southern vibes). They also have a backroom that is just plain fun, with darts, a slew of random trophies, and a bunch of board games (see photos).
My only negative was the wine. It was atrocious, so avoid that.
I like this place for it's ambience. Great place to gather with friends for a get together which brought me here. They have bar food which I didn't get to try since I ate before. I had wine though which was a decent selection although the bartender gave me Chardonnay instead of reisling. We heard there was a game room in the back which wasn't true. When you wander through their restrooms you'll find a wine cellar. This place isn't too far from the highline. When the weather gets better, I'll definitely stroll the highline again and may stop here. Drink prices are average. $12 for a glass of ok wine. Will Prob just get a cocktail next time.
