Good cosy spot for breakfast or lunch. The food is decent, the ambience is good. Friendly place and a good location in the upper west side. I recommend it.
My "go to" place in the neighborhood. For a time my local cafe was Cafe Lalo. But the place is pricey, noisy and always crowded. My new fave is Edgar's. It is a cozy place with amazing desserts, and the menu (especially for lunch) is delicious and affordable. Everything is fresh and yes the coffee is fantastic. Plus the music is french and never so loud you can't read at the table or engage in conversation. Trust me, let the tourists go to Lalo's, locals should try Edgar's.
It's awesome place,very cosy and cute. I love their desserts, food and always freshly brewed coffee. The wait stuff is extremely nice and friendly. The place has reasonable prices as for upper west side. I recomment everybody to check the new place out!
