Spent the day at the MET and was looking for a place to eat at and my map threw this up. I picked the meatloaf sandwich from the menu. The sandwich looked pretty small when it arrived compared to most portions I've seen in New York. But once I was done with it I realised it was the perfect time size. So filling and tasted real good. The meal came with a basket of bread and some butter. I couldn't try all of them but one of them which had raisins( I think) in it was incredible. And smeared with butter, I downed two. Good discovery I say.
This has been one of my favourite places in the Upper east area. The smoked salmon is yummy, and the sandwiches too are excellent. Service is good. Prices are slightly on the higher side, But then it is in Upper East side. Nothing comes cheap here !!!
Upper east side darling so yes it is expense. That said, I love the atmosphere here. Good deli food served with attitude. Great place for lunch for two. Think Ab Fab comes to New York with Patsy at the next table. Expect small serves as no one on the upper east wants to carry excess weight. Best bread basket and cheesecake in Manhattan Very busy around midday. You may have to wait for a table
Good but not great. Nice atmosphere and attentive servers. Looked like a good place for takeout Deli food and bakery.
Seemed to be mostly neighborhood people .
The prices are like the food, high quality although unlike the prices the food leaves a good taste in your mouth.
