This is by far my favorite pastry place EVERRRR!
A friend of mine told me about this place and has been insisting I bring back some of these slices to Long Island for me to share with her.
So the security guard asked if I'm here for take out or dine in and guided me into the queue on the left as I was there for take out. They had this tub like thing with boiling water in it in which they soaked their knives to avoid mixed flavors when these cakes/crepes are sliced. Something I found interesting.
Fascinated by how many layers of crepe were stacked so beautifully. I cannot say enough about how delicious these pastries are! We tried the Signature Mille Crepe and the Green Tea Mille Crepe and it was AMAZING! Worth every hefty-penny!
Definitely coming back!
Went because I heard about their crêpe cakes and oh wow they are extremely good. Just layers of light, airy, fluffy “cake.” The pastry creme was equally light and creamy. Overall experience was tantalizing. They have other flavors as well but I haven’t tried them!
It a bakery just in the heart of NYC. There is alaways a queue. So prepare to stand in queue. Every thing looked amazing but I did not have time as well as appetite to taste everything. I had Marron Mille Crepe with Americano. Crepe was very soft and delicious.
Such popularity amongst Asians. So I went there to try it out and it's certainly overrated. I'd give it a 5/5 for creativity though. And I like how the cakes are not too sweet.
Thought this would be overrated but darn that Green Tea Millie Crepe is good! The matcha flavor is strong and the crepes are sooooo soft and melt-in-your-mouth creamy!
Don’t you just love it when you happen to come across a place by chance that serves lovely desserts? My husband came across this dessert place called ‘Lady M Confections’ near Bryant Park, New york City recently when he was heading home. I am always up for trying new things and he wanted to surprise me by getting a sweet treat for me. So he went inside on a whim and was quite intrigued by the delectable varieties of ‘Mille Crêpes Cakes‘ that they serve.
Okay, so first off, who doesn’t love crepes? And when it’s a cake made out of crepes, it is sure to make you drool! Mille Crêpes is a decadent French cake consisting of 20-25 soft, thin crêpes stacked on top of each other, with a light brush of pastry cream between each crêpe.
We tried two of their Crêpes Cake – the Signature and the Green Tea Mille – both of them were not only delightfully delicious but also visually stunning! Light and airy and not overly sweet at all (something that I truly enjoy in desserts)
Went here a few minutes before close on a Saturday night and got a couple of desserts and hot chocolates to go. The cheesecake was super smooth and creamy. The chocolate mousse cake was delicious. The hot chocolates were great on a cool night. Only wish they would've been open later on a Saturday night for people coming out of shows to enjoy. Lots of people were turned away or had to get to go. Would've loved to sit inside. Def will stop by next time I'm in NYC.
Green tea crepe cake is the best - light, smooth, and just the right amount of sweetness and green tea flavour. Friendly but not overbearing staff. On the expensive side but worth it.
