Hole in the wall, small, hard to find...110% worth it to get there. First restaurant in NYC to really remind me of eating in small owner operated restaurants in Japan. Food was a 10, atmosphere was a 10, staff was a 10!!! Great experience. Highly recommend going.
This small restaurant one of those special dining experiences you wish to have when you are in NYC. Highly recommend it, the menu changes constantly so every visit is bound to give you something new!
It's a new hidden gem in Lower East Side / Chinatown. A pleasant and get away place for an evening drink and chill. They have fine selection of wine, sake and pairing side dishes. The chef had worked at upscale restaurants. I had the best fresh and most delicious oysters there. Definitely going back!
Excellent food and sake! Adorable art everywhere. :) This is the best meal I’ve had for my entire trip!
I don't think I have ever written a review for a restaurant, but Rabbit House is such a jewel of a place. Small and friendly, with a simple menu that melds flavors made in heaven.
Loved Rabbit House! Gracious service and true sake somellier! Wonderful and can't wait to go again. We also had the surprise of a jazz serenade while tasting our sake flight. Such a gem!
Wonderful food ! Unique atmosphere and great service !

Amazing little place with amazing people!!! What else do you want ? Yoshiko San is an amazing sommelier and the service is great!!
I just ate lunch at the Rabbit House and I loved it. My wife is Japanese and I have been to Japan 4 times, so I am not easily satisfied, and so trust me when I say that the food there is excellent. I have cooked yellowtail, dumpling, Nappa cabbage, and carrots with seaweed all at a very reasonable price. Chinatown is indeed lucky to have Rabbit House.
Yoshiko is the best! Had an excellent time at the Rabbit House
Service was great! More saki more happy
Highly recommend Rabbit House! Wide selection of delicious sakes
I love being spontaneous and free of any plans in NYC...just stumbled on this new treat! Live sax/bass duo...Yoshiko (owner, chef AND sake sommelier) has created my new favorite place. Swordfish bento box was awesome!
The people are friendly and made my first tasting for Saki awesome! Thanks y'all
