I absolutely loved everything about the Floating Mountain: the location -hidden on the 2nd floor so that only people in-the-know and a few adventurous-souls come in; amazing interior design; zen-like serene atmosphere - seems like for an hour or so you can leave all your worries outside the door; a wonderful hostess - so friendly, and so knowledgeable and passionate about her teas; and of course - the TEA itself!!! We were told the teas are very exclusive and bought directly from tea-masters in China, which is pretty amazing! Will definitely try to come back whenever i'm in the neighborhood on UWS!
A true hidden gem, this was the nicest tea house with the nicest tea and atmosphere I’ve ever experienced. If you’re even moderately interested in tea or you love and breathe it, please spend an hour or an afternoon! Took home some delicious long jing green tea!
Floating Mountain is a little piece of heaven in UWS, an unpretentious place where one can experience the amazing "art of teas" from their unique and delicious selection. I came with my daughter and immediately we felt at home. We enjoyed every sip our tea which were elegantly presented with lots of love. We definitely found our favorite tea place in NYC! Hope to see you there�
Nice and cozy place to enjoy Chinese tea with great hospitality. You need to take off your shoes at the entrance.

Such a lovely tea house! Delicious teas, serene look-and-feel and a very friendly owner � I’ve never seen such a long list of various teas. You can even buy some to take home. Beautiful tea ceremonies that help you appreciate the real taste of great teas!
Such a peaceful gem in NYC. It's located on the second floor, away from a busy NYC street. You walk in and the busy hectic NYC minutes turn into a calm meditative few hours. Rich selection of teas are best appreciated with friends �
I had a marvellous time here yesterday. I will always try to stop by when I am visiting the city for reprieve from the hustle and look forward to staying in touch even from Virginia.

Peaceful, clean, quiet, intentional. Zen. Incredible selection of teas, all hand-picked and carefully selected. Elina is a wonderful host and knowledgeable Tea Master. Definitely a must-visit. Looking forward to attending a concert later this week. Consider myself a regular 🙏🙌✨
