This restaurant was recommended to me by the bank official at Chase Bank in Chinatown. Seeing all the Chinese dining in here, I was confirmed that this place must be good. So was it.
A very basic Chinese restaurant with basic ambience but the food was class apart. We had ordered -
Pork Dumplings
Vegetable Fried Rice
Shrimp Fried Noodles
Mango Smoothie
All the items were fantastic, especially the noodles. We didn’t expect the egg to come over like that but it was good. I liked it. The Smoothie was ice cold. Our brains froze but yeah, it was made with original mango pulp. Had a good lunch at Cha Chan Teng. Happy Dining! :)
Clean for Asian!. Cleaner than most asian places in NYC's chinatown. Good price and good size for snacks. Tried the porkchop sandwhich and iced coffee & tea, liked it. The baked porkchop rice and satay beef vermicelli look really good as well.
Atmosphere was pretty trendy like and the service was quite good.
