Family friendly with outdoor space & a relaxed bar area. While I miss Henryβs, thankfully they kept the interior & atmosphere. The UWS really needed a restaurant like this. ππΌββοΈπ
This is a cozy place that my friends and I love to go to every few weeks. My only real complaint about it is that they tend to close a little bit on the earlier side. Though for a higher rated restaurant/bar, it's not surprising. It's extremely hard to find classy and enjoyable places that are open until 2am that I really enjoy - my favorite time to be out and about. It's relatively quiet (considering the city), relaxing, and enjoyable. The food is moderately priced, the drinks are acceptably priced, and the service has always been quite good. I have never left this place dissatisfied, and sometimes I have left with such an amazingly great impression that I can't wait to go back again. Usually those times we reschedule our little trips a little bit sooner. But I have always been happy here, and I will continue to visit. :)
Delicious Food that feels GOOD!. Consistent, delicious, prepared with care. I've been many times and the servers are on point. Management checks in and is very responsive and involved in dining room. Chef makes great brunch! For lunch I like the veg panini, the salads. Dinner I LOVE the calamari, they have THE best fries (sweets and reg) in the city, great fish specials and seasonal 'plant-based entree'. The bartenders are on top of their game and the crowd is friendly and welcoming. Great for large parties, but always a good idea to call ahead to set up. Go, enjoy.
I heart henrys. I love this place. the bar and late night crowd are hip and happy to chat, there's a mix from all parts of new york. the servers are interesting, real people who don't all necessarily want to be actors. henry himself is present quite frequently, as is the head chef. chances are they'll visit your table. lots of fun events throughout the year, and amazing cocktails.
it's beautiful and easy to find, too. Right off the uptown 1 train.
bring a date here. it's the perfect venue for wowing someone special or just having a business lunch.
Ordered two appetizers, chipotle BBQ ribs and grilled artichoke salad. Both were fantastic. Service was prompt and unobtrusive. Highly recommend.
