Good Ice Cream in a Farm setting. We love Woodside Farms ice cream, but hated having to drive all the way out to Hockessin, DE. We were so excited to learn that Somerset Farm was featuring Woodside Farms ice creams. The location is similar in that it is on a farm with COWS! The building is just a small shack with a take out window. This year they added a small covered picnic table area. Ice Cream flavors are limited, but they probably offer around 10-15 flavors at any given time. I like the butter pecan and the raspberry. My husband likes the motor oil. Prices are decent. Hours are short--just open on Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun evenings. We love the convenience of just driving around the corner for such good ice cream. It is a nice place to take the kids to relax...have an ice cream down on the farm!
Very delicious ice cream. Went there today with my husband. I got salted caramel ice cream l, it was very good. My husband got cookie and cream, his was ok. Overall we had a very pleasant experience. We'll definitely come back.
My family and I love Somerset Farms! They have the best homeade ice cream with lots of delicious flavors. We also really enjoy the setting. It's open and nice and you can watch the cows while you enjoy your ice cream. It's my favorite place to go get a treat.
The ice cream is so delicious! I honestly just wished they added more toppings (cookie crunchies) on top of the ice cream instead of just a very tiny sprinkle on top. I highly recommend!
Nice to see they want to continue serving the community with their ultra delicious ice cream, by improving the ice cream stand. Highly recommend stopping by this season to enjoy what they do best.
Ice cream is so good... Their Ginger Snap ice cream is fabulous. Can't wait till the Spring
Ice cream is so delicious. Chocolate Thunder is the best!!
