Wonderful hidden gem in Newark! Had about the best cup of coffee ever! Wonderful staff, very helpful! And don’t pass on the vegan peanut butter bomb!!
The only coffee shop of its kind on or off Main Street and probably in the zip code and beyond. These beans are amazing and whoever is choosing them is making the right decisions! They also have the best cup of coffee in Newark if you don't buy beans.
Really cool roasting house/coffee shop. The coffee is amazing, had a pour over. I didn't know what that was and the barista explained it to me. Excellent coffee and great staff make this definitely a coffee shop to check out. They will definitely have my business in the future.
Elizabeth was very kind and provided me with a quarter pound of four different varieties at the Co-op's Farmers Market. I've thoroughly enjoyed the decaf and the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe so far and I look forward to trying others. We're fortunate to have a place like this in Newark so please support it! A rare treasure for those who really enjoy freshly roasted coffee. Do yourself a favor and experience the exceptional flavor profiles available here - coffee that can be appreciated for its inherent flavor (sans sugar and creamers).
Traveling through the area visiting family (from Louisville, KY)... I googled local roaster like always and this came up first. I am glad it did. The barista was very knowledgeable and the coffee was top notch (regretting not buying a bag for the road to try some pour overs at home). Will definitely be back next time I am in the area.
Truly the best latte I've had in ages, cozy atmosphere and friendly to our small tribe of children! If you love and appreciate a well crafted coffee this is your place!
A hidden jewel 💎 in Newark. Awesome coffee. Excellent service, nice hip store to relax and enjoy the brew. Parking outback too.
Love this place. When is putting a coffee place right next to a humongous Starbucks not a bad idea? When your coffee rules!!
The Little Goat is my favorite establishment in Newark, Delaware. The atmosphere is curated with subtle genius.
Barn Wood under marble, open views of the coffee roaster, repurposed theater seating, live edge coffee table surrounded by rustic couches wearing floral patterns are well-selected components building up an experience of comfort and calm.
The baristas are also skilled and friendly. PSA: the straws are eco-friendly.
Last but not least, the product is excellent. Bringing the roasting component of the supply chain in-house makes for a unique quality. The person behind roasting the beans has acute senses that translate into flavors blended with precision.
My husband and I stopped by this weekend after noticing this new coffee shop was open. It is beautiful, hip and the coffee was delicious. It reminded us of the cool businesses the used to be on Main Street so many years ago. The owner chatted with us for ten minutes and was very gracious as more and more customers poured in. We look forward to returning and know they will succeed beautifully. Good Luck Little Goat!
Best coffee in Newark, DE! Very nice, friendly and welcoming staff, too! I love this place:)
This is the best coffee in town and I'll be a regular enjoying the awesomeness of fresh roasted organic fair trade deliciousness!
Finally made it over here and got one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is cozy.
Great service, delicious hot beverages - they make many of the flavor syrups in-house! Nice, calming atmosphere, a good place to get a tasty hot drink and relax.
Staff is friendly. Coffee and pastries are delicious. Dog friendly. Beautiful outdoor space. Highly recommend!
Its a great, friendly local roaster. So far, it seems to me that blend a little bit of Brazilian beans for two of their roasts (espresso and Nicaraguan), and I'm not sure if they do, but the taste works great.
Support small businesses, especially non-franchises. This place has earned it in my opinion.
Great quality of roasted coffee. They clearly do an excellent job roasting the beans. I always grab a bag of Ethiopian beans when I go for a latte. And best of all they let your dog come inside.
I had the strawberry matcha latte and it was so delicious. They make their own syrups in-house, and the place is so cute with lots of character. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Wish I wasn’t only visiting the town, otherwise I’d be a regular!
The lavender oat-milk iced latte is absolute heaven. I just moved to the area and had been looking for an aesthetically pleasing coffee shop that resembled the atmosphere and lavender coffee back home— this is the place! I have tried three other shops (including the raved about Brew-HaHa) and this hits all the good vibes. The people that work there are incredibly kind and the outdoor seating is spacious (great for reading a book)! Also, a plus, plenty of pups that come through for pets!
Love lattes, they make good and creative lattes . Though for black coffees, since they use light roasted beans, sometimes I feel like it is too mild for me (just preference issues) but overall they make good coffees.
Best coffee shop in Newark! The Ethiopian I had was excellent. Starbucks pales in comparison to this cafe. Not a ton of seating indoors but still a nice place to hang out. The roast their own coffee right in the store which is a huge plus to getting fresh coffees.
