Susie's Bistro and bakery is 5 star. You have not had cake until you've had one of Susie's. The cake itself is so moist and flavorful it wouldn't need frosting. I am no fan of cake frosting. Most of the time I scrape it off and just eat the cake. The frosting was amazing! Brian, co-owner, told me they use all butter, real butter in their frosting and it makes all the difference. Skip the supermarket cake and don't light the oven. Order a cake from Susie's. I loved the chocolate with vanilla butter cream. The meals are also a real treat. I've had breakfast and lunch at Susie's. the sandwiches are better than they look. Everything is farm to table and prepared expertly. I can't say enough good about this place. You have to try it!
We stopped in Saturday for lunch! I had the egg salad croissant and Dale had the chicken salad croissant! We cut each in half (as they were huge), and we split them, so we each had half of each sandwich! They were absolutely amazing! I must say the greens with champagne vinegarett was delicious also. Then we had a sweet treat! Dale got the cheesecake! It was such a huge piece, that 3 of us ate some of it! Everything was amazing! Susan, Brian, and the staff kept checking on us to see if we needed anything! They were very attentive! Great lunch experience! We will definitely be going back soon!
I enjoyed coming to the bistro. I have known the owner since college. The food was amazing and the whole bistro is adorable. Everyone is extremely friendly.
My family and I love Susie's Bistro and Bakery! The food is fresh and delicious. They always make our visit great. They both go out of there way to take good care of there customers. I highly recommend them. Eat in or take your amazing food and treats to go.

Stopped in to see Susie's new place in downtown Newark. Such a nice place!! We got some chocolate covered strawberries and they were delicious!! We will definitely be back for some lunch and of course dessert. Thanks Susie!!
The croissant sandwiches are amazing and the pastries are delish. I eat there every chance I get and the owners and staff are wonderful. Love that place
Stopped in to see Susan and Brian at their new bistro and it is a quaint little place, very charming and the food is Amazing. Friendly staff and did I mention it was Amazing �� Will definitely be back in the near future��
Thank you Susie for making our 200 graduation cupcakes. They were the talk of the party! Absolutely out of this world. Chocolate, lemon, red velvet, carrot cake, raspberry and vanilla were all gone in no time! I will definitely call you again for the next graduate.

I absolutely love Susie bisteo& bakery. They make the best cakes.there so good and amazing. I love the gape leaves they make, breakfast sandwiches and more. Too much to list.. Susan and Bryan are really hard working wonderful people and so lovely great people. If your looking for someone to your cake. They are the ones.
You need to go here now if you want delicious fresh food and eye-catching goodies! I had the chicken salad with a salad and it was delicious. I don't even usually like chicken salad but wanted to try it. She also has quiche, sandwiches, salads and baked goods. My friend had the carrot cake and loved it. Plus, very friendly and prompt service, especially since it was their opening day. Highly recommended!
We stopped in for the first time today, the owner was super sweet, food and goodies were all great and ice cold milk to go with it!
