Had my first experience here and I was amazed. Both my wife and I were blown away by the food and the service. This place is a hidden jewel that I want to both tell the world about and then selfishly keep all myself at the same time. The food was amazing, the staff was great and I think the price was on target. This is well both your trip to Newberry from anywhere locally and beyond.

Historic town that made me get off the highway, glad I did. Googled some restaurants and this place caught my eye. It sounded great. Ordered Pecan encrusted chicken with blackberry sauce and Salmon with locally grown mushroom sauce, both dishes were fantastic. Pipped potato stack was great with the vegetables. Plated perfectly. Highly recommended! Loved it!
Delicious salad w balsamic potatoes. and warm fresh rolls followed by roast prime rib, steamed broccoli and a loaded baked potatoe.
Steven out did himself last night. Everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meal. My swordfish was cooked to perfection. A must go to place if you like upscale dining.
We were traveling on 26 and decided we wanted a real dinner. Went into Newberry and found this little gem. Ordered a filet and it was delicious! So tender you could almost cut it with a fork. It was cooked perfectly! Veggies on the side were great also. We had the almond basket for dessert. Perfect ending to a perfect meal. Service was friendly and excellent! If you are in the area give them a try.

My wife and I went to a show at the Opera house and ate two nights at Steven W's. Both nights the food, service and ambiance were excellent. First night I had pecan crusted grouper, second a whole flounder. Best fish I have had in a long time. We also tried the crab cakes and wantons. What I liked a lot were the sauces that came with the dishes. Very complimentary to the dish. Portion sizes were fine. Definitively would go back when we are in the area. They have a full bar and wine list as well.
I recommend reservations as on Saturday it did get busy - opentable worked great. They are normally not open on Sunday, but do open for shows at the Opera house from 5-7. Opentable does not list Sunday, so you need to call for reservations.
