The best sushi in Ventura County hands down! Small but amazing! You have to try the halibut sushi w/ lime zest & sea salt. So delicious & fresh! Also the #8...just trust me! Their Spanish mackrel is delish as well. I've never eaten anything here that wasn't a masterpiece! I consider myself a sushi snob w/ great taste!!! You won't be disappointed!

Wonderful!. Thanks to Urbanspoon, we found this beautiful, quaint sushi restaurant in Thousand Oaks.

The food was wonderful... a must taste, and the staff was kind and friendly. Everything that we ordered was absolutely delicious.

Good place to get sushi. The food is fresh made. Really enjoyed all the different kinds of sushi 🍣 rolls. I will come again again. Good prices too.

Good food all the time. The restaurant was busy and it was only 5 when we went there. The takeout orders seemed to equal the dine in orders.

Our favorite sushi place in the Conejo Valley. One or the other of two lovely Japanese families has owned and run this place forever. All throughout the pandemic, the carryout portions were delicious, generous, and very consistent. Post-pandemic, we are really looking forward to joining the throngs of neighbors we regularly see at Sushi Oaks for dinner. Our favorites: Nomo Roll, Sapporo Roll, Salmon Belly, and Freshwater Eel.

What a gem. Customers around me seemed to be regulars. Tucked away in a little mall, I didn't expect too much. The staff was lovely. Highly recommend the BK Roll, yum! Food was super fresh, service was excellent.

Great local sushi! We've been coming here at least once a month for 15 years. Always great, perfectly fresh sashimi, and delicious everything. The soft shell crab is sublime... order it right when you sit down before they run out!

The difference between a good restaurant and a great restaurant are in the small details. The hot green tea was a blend with toasted brown rice and took me by pleasant surprise. The Philadelphia Roll portion was not only big, but had a smattering of raisins, nuts, and executed very distinctly from your usual strip mall sushi fare. We just had a quick lunch but can totally say this place is a neighborhood gem. My only regret is that I don't live closer for a quality sushi fix.

Wonderful sushi and service. The fish is always very fresh and flavorful. I am not a "roll person" myself, but when my dining companions order them and I sample, they are always fresh, creative, and quite large.
