Best and most interesting food in town - couldn't recommend more. The menu is not just creative for creative's sake - the dishes are mouth wateringly good every time. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The ambiance is fun with some funky (love the vinyl!). Chef Suzi (owner) knocks it out of the park. If you come to Newburyport, make this your first stop whether for brunch, lunch, of dinner.
Great atmosphere, very friendly and down to earth staff, wonderful food, and incredible cocktails. Nothing to complain about! We will definitely be returning soon and highly recommend this restaurant!
Went for a private event and not only was the service great and the drinks as well but literally every single dish the brought out of the kitchen and as to die for. Had wanted to try this place for a while and glad I finally got the chance. Unfortunately the drinks were a little too good so I don’t remember exactly what we were served other that chicken satay and chicken veggie tacos. I know there was a lot more and it was all delicious just don’t recall what….
Having said this their regular menu seems sadly limited compared to what was served that night
The atmosphere here is very alive! I am not one to try different types of food but the paddle inn does a good job of introducing their own touches to what regular plates would be. The crab Rangoon was very good and the adobo chicken plate was very filling. They have great cocktails to go with your meal. The staff is very friendly and attentive to your needs.
a wonderful place to eat and drink! the food and cocktail menus change every so often, providing even more delicious options to try. the thai fries and margaritas are two of my favorite options every time.

I ordered Thai Fries, Chesapeake Chowder, and Gaucho Steak. Everything was awesome! Specially, I recommend you to try to have a Chowder. I am not sure if there is any better ones than here.
I usually eat, blandly, so I can say it was a bit salty for me.
Additionally, there are some more fusion asian foods. I am expecting to try another menu next time :)
A seasonally rotating menu keeps The Paddle Inn exciting! Their staff are always friendly and answer questions! The drinks are delicious and creative! This is a must try for locals and visitors!

Great vibe! Came for lunch and stayed for dinner. Food is fresh,eclectic and tasty! Love the turntable music! Tap was cold and crisp! Staff was friendly and engaging. Definitely will return!
