Amazing. Been looking forward to the opening of this quaint restaurant nestled in a perfect spot in the center of downtown Newburyport since I heard it was going in and it didn't disappoint! The atmosphere was great and the food was outstanding. The menu options looked so good that we ordered a handful of things and shared them. The Tuna Tartare was fantastic as were the tacos and the duck confit salad. My one regret: we were so satisfied after the appetizers and entrees that we couldn't think about dessert - I now wish I had at least checked out the dessert options for future reference. The restaurant is designed so every space has a view of the beautiful market square; I imagine now that once the holiday season arrives and the town tree is lit up, it will be like eating in a winter wonderland. A true gem!
I think the food at this place is really good. The staff is friendly and courteous. The prices is a little on the high side but one does not mind since you pay for really good food. The place is small yet comfortable and cozy. I will be going back and bringing friends.
A fantastic little gem in downtown Newburyport. The food was amazing. The tuna tartare( my favorite) and oysters were delicious. The bread pudding was out of this world. I cannot say enough about the staff, cocktails and food. I will definitely be back.
Jess is a phenomenal waitress, Nick spot on the bar! The 2 of them are a total power team! Doesn't matter if we go with the family or sit at the bar, always amazing. Signing kitchentoaisle for parties already
Great atmosphere and amazing location in downtown Newburyport. One of the best old fashioned's I have ever had. Tuna tartare and the crab cakes were amazing appetizers along with the pulled pork sliders. 10/10 will return.
Amazing! Staff was great food was unreal. Beautiful place with a great bar and amazing food!!!
Awesome food and great cocktails. Tuna tartare and crab cakes were my favorite. Also had the salmon dish for entree, and it was cooked perfect and had great sides. Definitely going back soon!
Really lovely decor. Well thought out space. Super friendly staff. yummie apps and duck confit was excellent.
Great views of the square too.
Ok....I don’t usually go for the fish. Because the steak looks so damn good, but the salmon I had last night was outta hand!!!! Seriously. Had to stop by the kitchen on the way out to show my admiration. Well done!

We had a wonderful dinner. Service was friendly and efficient, atmosphere was warm and cozy and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back!
Absolutely love West Row! I have been here twice now, and both times have been fantastic. The service is excellent, the staff are all wonderful. The food itself is incredible. The menu is small but there’s something for everyone. The first time I went I had the drink “sweater weather” and it was amazing as well. I can’t recommend this place enough!
Stopped here visiting from NJ.
I frequently visit fine dining establishments in NY,NJ as well as the Caribbean when I travel as I enjoy fine food. The inside of this cafe is well designed and decorated it has a modern look matched well to some older rustic looking elements. Nice white quartz countertops with a rustic looking but modern gray color wood floor blue and white paint wall colors with one very original and rustic looking brick wall on one side, great interior decorating in tune with “what’s in” today.
I ordered the west row martini which is really great as well as the little neck clams which I felt are a good value at $12 and the brunch lobster omelette which was delicious as well.
Good tasting food well priced for the quality provided, definitely thumbs up and suggested.
Congratulations to the interior decorator as well as chef as well as owner for a well executed and well priced restaurant!
The best sandwich ever....the crabcake sandwich with bacon. Laura had fabulous Thai mussels. Adrienne a great server!
Finally ventured into this restaurant that once was an Orange Leaf during a rainy Yankee Homecoming night. Luckily had a reservation so seating was quick and we got a nice corner table with a bench seat...very comfortable. What a transformation, very intimate setting, dimly lit for ambiance and attractively decorated.
Our waitress, Caty was very attentive and friendly and didn't mind a bit going to ask the chef about how spicy a dish was. We shared the Beets and Baby Spinach salad and the special watermelon and cucumber salad and they were both excellent. Glad that the beet salad is on the regular menu as we will be getting that again. I ordered the Seared Miso Salmon cooked medium and it is the best salmon I have ever had out. He had the cornmeal crusted scallops which was equally as good.
The manager even made it around to our table to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. This place will definitely become a regular haunt!
We had a nice dinner here at the bar. Friendly staff. Fast service. A "nobody gets hurt" menu but what we got was good. Good beers on tap. The atmosphere was a nice change from the dark themed interiors of many places. We will go back.
Awesome place first time here. The cocktails are amazing. We just had a lite meal with the oysters and cheese board. No complaints and will definitely return for a full dinner.
West Row Martini was amazing. Brussel sprout appetizer is a must try!! Cute, cozy, and friendly service. Definitely recommend.
