Great food, all items made to order. It was a pleasant surprise. Friendly staff. This is an unexpected gem in a restaurant void. We would definitely visit again.
Great pizza and calzones. I always get pizza or calzones. Awesome.
Called to place our order. Very friendly voice on the other end of the phone! Said it would be a hour wait because of how busy they were. That was fine. I figured the food was going to be top tear. I was disappointed. The white pizza with fresh garlic and tomato was very disappointing. Definitely not enough sauce or cheese. It was very dry. The meat lovers pizza wasn't bad at all. The service there is great. Maybe I would have to try something else if we come back this way.
Our experience getting take-out at The Italian Restaurant in Pineola was excellent. My call to place my order was picked up right away by a cheerful and professional hostess. I arrived at the restaurant early and employees were super nice. No less than two of them offered me a drink while I sat at the bar. The co-owner, Greg, thanked me for coming and chatted with me. Very nice!
The large pizza was hot and loaded with toppings. The pizza was delicious and everyone from 2 to 70 liked it.
The house salad was very large for a house salad. It had lots of extra vegetables and was very fresh. The ranch dressing was obviously homemade and was delicious. It was thin in a good way so that you could actually pour it on the salads on our plates.
I highly recommend the restaurant! Linville Land Harbor residents, visitors and neighbors are fortunate to have such a nice restaurant so close.
We had the pasta ravioli and the spaghetti and meatballs. Both were good. The garden salad was very good, but we wished they had olive oil for the Italian bread. The service was very good.
My husband and I enjoyed the best Italian meal we've had in quite sometime. I had the baked ziti with meatballs and it was delicious! My husband had a pizza with Italian sausage, onion and pepperoni. That too was delicious. The warm bread and butter started off our evenings meal. The staff was wonderful, the atmosphere was cozy. We will definitely go back many times.
I get to Newland about once a month. This is one of my favorite places. First, the service is always awesome. I think Friday night our waitresses name was Ginger. We had a larger party and we all commented she never let our drinks get empty. She was cheerful and polite.
The food is always really good. The wait times are always reasonable. I had my T-1 step daughter and she was going low. We got bread immediately.
Also, for bonus points they have pints of sauce for sale you can take home. I forgot to grab one this trip but they make my meals taste more authentic.
They had a change of ownership recently and I have not noticed any difference. Same good food and same great service.

The food is delicioussss! Very fresh, and family friendly. The staff is super nice, they even get our dog a few treats outside!! I would definitely recommend this place if you are ever in the area and looking for a place to eat some amazing food. 😃💖
Stopped in after a long day on the parkway. Very reasonable prices. The service was great and the owner was friendly. The large salad is big enough for 2, The pizza was delicious as well as the garlic bread appetizer. Would recommend for anyone with a family, but couples can enjoy as well.
The pizza never fails! Always perfect crust, not skimpy on the toppings, the sauce is delicious.
Adam was our server and he was great, glasses were never even close to empty, he had a great sense of humor, paying attention to every table in the dining room.
Stopping here was a perfect end to our fall leaf looking day!
Found this amazing gem on our way to mountain city , it’s nicely tucked away en route and it was a pleasant surprise to stop by. We ordered the family style calzone and it’s was fantastic and super filling . Couples with some on tap beer and a wonderful meal was had . It’s highly recommended to stop by if you are out and about
Great hidden gem. The pizza was the best I have ever had hands down. We ordered a calzone also and it was delicious. Definitely would like to return and try the pasta. As we were leaving, I saw someone's plate and was jealous.

This is our second time here. We drove 4 hours just to come back here and it is still well worth the drive. The kids had a pizza, my husband and dad had the calzone, I had the baked manicotti, and my mom had the chicken parm. We also got tiramisu and carrot cake, both were amazing! You can't go wrong with whatever is on the menu. The staff was also on point and the music is always great. We will be making another trip in the future.
Fantastic find... in the middle of winter in January... super friendly staff, owner and chef... great food, wonderful house Chianti and we had the white hawaiian house special pizza and it was so well made... Crust was delicious. Quick hi to Papi and Lisa... checkout the shots inside the restaurant
I got a gluten free pizza with pepperoni pineapple and jalapeno. The gluten free option is pretty expensive, even when compared with other restaurants. The crust was very tasty, had a pleasant taste to it. Maybe cauliflower? I would've preferred the pizza cooked more but that's preference.
My friend got the Sicilian pizza which was ginormous. It took him 4 days to eat that, and he's a big dude.
Other friends had gotten a stromboli, and they said it was ok. They're used to home made pastries, so that's likely why.
Waitress was awesome, loved her! Got to talk with her and she had good recommendations for the whole table. Overall love this place and although I work and therefore eat at a pizza place all the time, I'd revisit this restaurant.
