Great food with great people. We’ve celebrated many birthdays here, love to bring friends for special times, and also great for everyday. Brunch, lunch, dinner, all are wonderful. Specials you won’t find anywhere else - the latest we loved was vegan crispy ravioli - delicious! You know how if you go to a place a bunch you often end up ordering the same thing? Not here! The menu isn’t overwhelmingly huge, there are just so many good choices it is impossible to pick only one as a favorite!!!
The Walnut Grille catered my daughter's wedding for 100 people at the Fuller Craft Museum. The food was wonderful! A full vegan experience from appetizers to desert. The guests, many of whom had not previously experienced vegan food, were overflowing in their praise of the various dishes. The staff was attentive and skillful. A five star experience!
Food was amazing. Service was amazing. Highly recommend this place if you feel for vegan vegetarian or gluten free cuisine.
My husband and I have been here many times and I've also picked up takeout, catering trays and cakes from them. I have only good things to say about this restaurant; it's one of our favorites. We've never tried a dish here we didn't like! Their specials are always great; hubby ordered one last night that we hope will be offered again. I love that everything can be made vegan and that they have so many vegan desserts. I've shared some food with family and friends for events and recently had a friend request that I bring Gobi Manchurian to a party she was hosting because she'd tried it at my house. My mother has fallen in love with the Mango Vanilla cake. Someday I need to get the rest of my family here!
Love this gem in Newton Highlands!! Nutty Tofu is my all time favorite Vegan dish, wine and desert selection are always spot on too!!
Our first time in and we were impressed. The sweet potato and artichoke gluten free pizza was delish. Great tasting gluten free crust is hard to come by. You guys have it down pat! The Gobi was fantastic. Greats atmosphere. Fantastic service. We'll be back!

I felt the need to say for a vegan vegetarian restaurant I'm in love. I'm neither and would recommend even for the carnivores in your life.
A total gem! Delicious, healthy, creative and reasonably priced vegan and vegetarian food in a lovely atmosphere that works for both casual or more upscale occasions. Terrific staff too! I can't think of a better local place to recommend.

Not a vegetarian or vegan but I LOVED this restaurant! The nachos are to die for & we had great service as well!! Will definitely be coming back (the sooner the better) !

Went with wife (Vegan) and son (both of us non-vegan) and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals capped with a fantastic chocolate soufflé. Highly recommend regardless of your dietary choice.
With the exception of a large super loud group and a very slow service, everything about the food was incredible, which made the first two issues evaporate with our first bite!!!
Exceptional food, excellent service, so exceeded our expectations. I thought I was being a good mom when my daughter invited me to the Walnut Grille, vegetarian/vegan would not be my first choice, but it is now! The flavors, textures were beautiful!
Amazing experience here. Gobi Manchurian is almost impossible to find in the US, and it’s so good here. Perfect texture, wonderful sauce. A can’t-miss. The veggie lasagna is so flavorful and healthy, filled with tons of beans and veggies. We had a wonderful time, with friendly and thoughtful service. They even came out to let us know the cheese in the vegan lasgana was vegan. Appreciated that they spaces tables apart as well. Overall an easy 5/5. Would definitely recommend. Appreciate the delicious foods and fantastic environment the folks working at Walnut Grille create!
Good vegan food options especially for a restaurant outside of Boston. I really liked the BBQ Seitan and the vegan BLT. We also had the falafel bowl and the power grain bowl. Both were good but not as flavorful as we expected.
Amazing food ! Lot of gluten free vegan options available. We had Gluten free vegan pizza , it was amazing. Love love love Vegan gluten free soufflé thts our favorite dessert.

Loved the items that we ordered. It has decent ambiance.
We went for dinner and ordered Gobi Manchurian as our appetizer. It was slightly sweetish in taste but did not affect the overall taste of the appetizer.
We also ordered vegetable lasagna which was quite impressive and delicious. We found tofu tikka masala to be slightly tangy.
Overall- good experience! Would recommend for causal outing.
OMG! there are no words for how good this food is. Creative, tasty, huge portions and definitely $$ friendly. I LOVED it and will be back soon. shout out to the waitstaff and kitchen who made us feel welcome with less than an hour to closing. Just super gracious.
Had a wonderful dinner, from Gobi appetizer, to Vegan Marsala, finishing with vegan brownie sundae - what a meal! Friendly & fast service plus delicious food, that’s my idea of a great restaurant! We’ll be back soon for brunch!
