Did some research before traveling to Newtown for a conference. Pat's just looked homey and the pics of the food looked good. I decided to get up at the normal time so I could get a good breakfast. OMGOODNESS! Mike and Lauren made me feel right at home. Great service and fantastic people. I just had to try the weird sounding omelet... apples, cheese and sausage. The flavor combination was perfect... who would have thunk it. I also wanted to try 1 peanut pancake... I like comparing pancakes at places. It was the most beautiful pancake I have seen and there were WHOLE pecans in it. The strawberries and bananas set it off. I think everyone needs to try Pat's. My compliments to Frankie, the chef.

Incredibly "homey" place! You feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. We checked out the very "country" inside, but it was such a beautiful day we opted for the "porch" seating. Coffee was immediate...food was excellent...served hot...at a very nice price. Can highly recommend the pecan pancakes, the blueberry pancakes, and the "plain old incredibly yummy" pancakes. Oh.. with pork roll on the side. A total "win/win".

Dont rate many places a 5 in anything, but Pats earns this every time we're here. Historic building, great servers and food was unique. Try the omelet with cinnamon apples!!!

Very quaint little breakfast spot and the inside has just been redone. I enjoy sitting out on the small deck for breakfast. I ordered a coffee which was hot and delicious. I also ordered creamed chipped beef and it came with a side of home. It was very good but I must admit it was not the best I have had. My wife got the pancakes which are excellent and a side of pork roll. We love this place and we will continue to come back. Please excuse my pictures of the food because the meals were have eaten by the time I remembered to take a for this review. I will update the pictures next time I go.

Great little place for breakfast. It feels you're eating at grandma's ol' country kitchen. I've been coming here for years and love to get the omelet with cheddar cheese, sausage, and thin-sliced apples sprinkled with cinnamon. The staff is always friendly and provides great service! (Oh, and if you come in the fall, you must try the pumpkin pancakes with pecans!)

Yummy food, fast and friendly service, very good prices considering inflation. We had choc chip/peanut butter chip pancakes and eggs Benedict and we loved everything. I am definitely going back soon to try their lunch.

Wonderful local diner with indoor and outdoor seating. They've recently expanded the indoor space but haven't lost any of the charm, friendliness, or great food. Highly recommend!

Found this place passing through and loved it. Breakfast selection was so good it was hard to decide on one thing. I did purchase a jar of jam to bring home. So goodšŸ‘. They accommodated are larger party with no problem.

I had the Eggs Benedict and it was delicious. I then had pancakes with pecans and it was fantastic. 10/10 would go again.

We tried this today for Fathers Day and got seated right away. This is a quaint little restaurant which is open from 7 am to 2 pm for breakfast or lunch. The food and service were excellent. The only negative I can say is limited leg room as the tables and chairs are cramped together and the staff has to wiggle & waggle between tables.
