Very recommended, variety of daily specials and a comprehensive menu covering staples you’d expect to find on regional Italian menu. Some gluten free options, including pasta, and a pretty open bar area with TV’s.
Awesome! The food, the atmosphere, the portions, the service. Nostrano is a gem. From a small, BYOB spot in Monroe to a full-service restaurant in Newtown, Nostrano never ceases to impress. Whether you want a night out with a great meal or you need some food catered for a party, Nostrano cant be beat. Our most recent visit was last night... I had the veal chop milanese and a side of angel hair puttanesca. Wow... it was just awesome, the portions were generous (as are the drink pours) and our server, Brooke, was exceptional, as well. This place just can't be beat... When we have ordered trays of food from Nostrano for parties, they don't miss a beat... the food is terrific even when prepared in volume. One tip: order a larger tray than you think you need... you will want the leftovers (and so will your guests)! Give this spot a try... you will be glad that you did.
Fantastic! What a pleasant find in Monroe. You will not go away hungry! Staff are wonderful and see that all needs are met. Appetizers and drinks are all great!
Amazing chicken dishes. They serve the cutlets nice and flattened and use the perfect amount of breading. Everything was fresh and simple! It felt like eating at my Nonna’s house. Great local restaurant!
A great Italian restaurant. We were there in the summer and were able to sit outside. The service was great as well as the food. We were not rushed as it should be. However, a word of warning: the seating is limited so make a reservation well in advance. MAKE A RESERVATION or you will be disappointed. We will return often when we can get in. Updated: our recent visit was even better. Great authentic food, great service and great fairly priced wines. We had a variety of dishes, all excellent. See our photos.
Nostrano is our favorite local Newtown restaurant. Most recently we called on them to cater a bereavement luncheon for over 100 people. With only a couple days notice, Anthony put together a menu of some of their most delicious dishes, delivered and set up the entire spread leaving me with little to worry about. It was absolutely fantastic and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the quality of the food. A huge thank you to Anthony and Katie. I would highly recommend Nostrano for your dining and catering needs.
We went on a Sunday night they were having 2 parties going on so seating was limited, we ate inside at a hi top. Calamari app was excellent, main dishes I had penne in vodka sauce, my fiance had Scampi both were excellent, prices were reasonable and large portions. Hi end place great for a date night or special event.
