Clam chowder with Clam strips and fries. Typical seafood, nothing too special. View is great for watching the ocean and boats while eating. We ordered chocolate peanut butter ice cream while awaiting the food, but it was freezer burnt! 🤮 I would stay away from the ice cream!

Hands down some of the best fried seafood in CT. We were in the area staying at the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina (which is also incredible) and we just kept coming back here everyday. The food was that good. Each one of our orders was freshly made and the staff was amazing

Stopped by after leaving the beach. They offer a ton of dining options but I mainly came here for the lobster roll. It’s a good deal, you get the roll, fries and Cole slaw for around 20 dollars. I ordered it warm and you’re able to pour the butter on the sandwich yourself. It was good, quality lobster meat and great toasted bun. I would definitely comeback for the lobster roll again

The food here does exactly what you want it to do. It hits the spot. It's very tasty. Good variety on the menu for the type of establishment. Outdoor seating could be more comfortable but again it's kind of a low budget establishment. So bench seating with a nice view. Hopefully there's a good breeze and you'll have a good time. The price is not expensive at all. And the service is just what's needed.

Great atmosphere. Counter order with a patio and picnic tables. Food was fantastic. Fish is amazing, shrimp are massive and full of flavor. Also had some scallops, clam strips, and fries (I believe it’s the Fishersman Platter). Can’t rate this one highly enough. Had an absolutely awesome experience.

It's a clam shack, so no wine list, but the food is great. It's part Greek restaurant, part fried fish place. The place is clean, the service is great, and the wait wasn't long. We had a Gree salad and clam strip roll with fries. Fantastic! There were even stuffed grape leaves on my salad.

FRESH Seafood of all varieties! I love the Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail and Tossed Salad for a light lunch. Overlooks the Niantic serving sizes for very generous and definitely worth the price of a seafood lunch. The outdoor seating is spectacular and overlooks the Boardwalk and beautiful Scenery Long Island Sound. In peak season the Parking lot and seating can be difficult. Recommend going for an early or late lunch. This restaurant is open YEAR ROUND so if you just want to try it out for the first time, go during off-peak season!

My second time around this place. I had the famous fish and chips and it was good. Fresh fish deep fried with very little batter. I am impressed with the quality of the fish that they use. Parking may be a problem but you can always walk. If you are a first time, don't expect them to bring your food out. Keep your receipt as they will call your order based on your receipt number.

I was sure happy I found this place. I had been hoping to go to Dad's in Niantic but they were closed as I found out. I then tried another place over in New London but that didn't work out. Just as I was about to head home I remembered there was another place very close to Dad's, Skippers! It had a very good Yelp rating so I figured I'd try it. I got the fish and chips and the hot lobster roll. The fish and chips was pretty good as was the lobster roll though the roll seemed a bit on the soggy side. I'm chalking that up to the fact that I got it to go as opposed to eating it on site. I'll have to try it again. But let's talk about those french fries I haven't had fries like that in a very long time they were quite crunchy and I could eat them for hours. I was able to get a parking spot although parking filled up quite rapidly while I was there around 5:30 or so. They also have shakes and ice cream if you want to get dessert there or there's Dairy Queen right around the corner. Overall a solid stop. I will definitely be back.

After a beach day, this is the perfect spot to enjoy some lunch/dinner. The view is beautiful, the facility is small and simple (you can eat inside or outside on their patio) and the food is excellent. They even have a great ice cream menu with some diverse flavors. 100% will return.

My personal favorite summer shack in my town. The food is great. Seafood is always fresh. The fried food doesn’t leave you feeling greasy and gross. My personal favorite meal is the fisherman platter. If you get one or two appetizers then it can split between two people. However, it’s perfect for a solo meal if you are very hungry. Parking is east and available. The porch is great but they also have an A/C inside dining area.
