I planned a 70th surprise birthday party at the Tavern last night!! Steve was absolutely awesome the last couple of weeks. It couldn't have turned out any better! The waitresses were amazing! The food was also amazing! Thank you Steve and your whole staff on making the night special!!
My family loves to go to The Lyme Tavern! The food is always good, the prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. You never feel rushed. Our favorites are the calimari, nachos and specials. Happy hour was extremely generous with 3-4 pasta dishes and salad available to choose from. Will we return? Yes!

We go here about 3/4 times a month. Food is always good and great prices. Wait staff is attentive and kind-even when they're at their busiest 😃

Jennifer and I have been there twice and each time was better than the last. Food is great, the ambiance is fantastic, and the patrons are hilarious. A true sports bar. Definitely worth the ride down from South Windsor to Niantic.
We had the Baked Cod and it was delicious.
The food was amazing, and the service was outstanding.
Going on Sunday was a treat! Had a free raffle with DJ entertainment. Football was on and their fans were happy to live it up. Great time.
Nice friendly staff. It's very dark inside. Im guessing it's done purposely. The food was decent, and your average prices.
Wow. Wow. Wow. So good. The food the people the wait staff everything was awesome. We had the meatball with swiss ,the, turkey and the sausage with peppers and onions grinders and chicken strips and and clam chowder it was all amazing. I will definitely be going back again. The money we spent was well worth it and the food items weren't that expensive... Everywhere else recently was so expensive and food just didn't taste right in some way this place is awesome and delicious. Next time I need more dipping sauce for my chicken strips which I must say we're fresh. And they didn't give me chips with my grinder last time we did so not sure what happened there. Even the live band was great . It's the last of the season though. Located right next to the beach... Just convenient and delicious Soo happy.
They treat me real good, even had to wait do been a Celiac, was a error done my foodwss croscontaminated.
But really appreciate their honest, they did my meal all over.
To compensate they discount me a drink from my bill.
Waitress she is Great very dedicated, Tip her please they work hard waitress,bartender,......
Stopped after a visit to the area history and waterfalls and had a beer. My wife had some clam half shell and after finally deciding in a draft we played pool and had a great stop. Thanks to the awesome bartender service was on point.
Sports Bar. Drinking hole. Family friendly. Good food and better prices. The tavern checks a lot of boxes. Give it a try and you won’t sad you did!
Service was great fast burgers and fries coke. Very close to koa camp ground .that was a very quiet place but very nice new pools open have fun camping stop in for a meal or beer thank u guys girls

Food very good. Had fish and chips, Joan had steamers chowder and fritters. Service very good. Recommend anyone from across the street at Rocky Neck give it a try.
Spacious and comfortable, wait patiently for a delicious burger. Lots of options and a god place to take a break from the sun. The owner cares about your experience.
A sports bar where we went for. Lunch with friends. You could tell that's a place is a little rundown but good food and not that loud.
Wow! Been there many, many times. The fish and chips are the best in New England. We had such a great time and will continue to go there forever. Steve, the owner came out to greet us with a smile and a hand shake. I will be a customer forever! I only wish there were 10 stars as the Lyme Tavern deserves them all. Stopped in on a whim because it was the closest place to the beach. The burgers were GREAT and my son loved his personal pizza. Good beer list. The prices are very reasonable.
Had a swiss burger with onions for lunch and it was amazing! Good spot to have lunch and quench your thirst. Highly recommended if you're in the area.
