So my group did show up around 9 something however it wasn’t too busy in there. I ordered the bourbon street chicken and shrimp wit the green beans. It was well seasoned however cooked a little too much. It was edible so I ate my food and still tipped cuz I’m not that person. But the chicken had a burnt flavor and some of the green beans were soft. I tend to like a good bite to them and a few had it but not all of them. Would I return, sure, could have been a short staffed night for the slow service for all I know. That’s why they got 4 stars instead of 3.
Food was awesome, server was great nice location . Definitely had a good time this evening!!
I arrived first and the place seemed empty. I was told the wait would be 30 minutes or more.... so I waited. Things changed once the rest showed up. It became a girl and a kid and then there was a hole family waiting. Options opened up and we were seated quickly. I understand that they were trying to skirt expectations and they weren’t trying to be lazy or awful to me. But looking at a bunch of empty tables and being told you can’t be seated makes you feel unwelcome. The weird thing is, once we were seated, everyone was sooooo nice. They were all such great people. And very helpful. The experience was wonderful. I’m not saying don’t come here. I’m just saying that it’s like visiting a rude uncle. Once you get to know him, he’s actually really nice.
