Both sad and happy I didn't hear of this place sooner. Sad because I only have a month left in Normal and they have some of my favorite soft serve. Happy because I could see myself dropping some money and gaining some weight if I had heard of Carl's earlier. Too bad it's not closer to campus either.
This is a great place to stop for ice cream or food. My husband had the chili cheese dog with onions and said it was great. My son had a hamburger with onion rings and he said that hamburger was cooked perfectly and it’s a nice in style grilled Patty. Very nice atmosphere clean on the inside and out. We will definitely come back again
I live close by but tried it just recently. It's nice they're open till 9:30 and they have plenty of seating outside. I would have preferred to receive my check.
Everything tasted great. We got burgers and ice cream. Nice atmosphere, good customer service. My only gripe is in the bathroom- walking into the men’s room gives a direct line of sight into the stall and it’s awkward. Please fix.

Enjoyed a late lunch there with my son. It had been awhile since we'd gone there. Absolutely delicious BBQ pulled pork sandwich and totally enjoy their wide selection of hard ice cream flavors.
I love coming to this little gem... I moved away from the area and anytime I get a chance to come back I do!!! Fries are soooo yummy... And ice cream is delicious!!! This last trip I had the honor of swinging by with my El Camino and just had to get a picture with the statue!!!
Very good ice cream with a kind of old school ice cream parlor feel.. only thing last time there my $11 Dailey special some how was $18 and the girl was mad when I asked about it..I still will always stop by here when in town
