The food was good and our waitress was the best. She was kind, professional and fun. She caught details in our order most waitstaff miss when you say no vegetables.

I have been here several times and Alex and James have been my servers. Both times I have had excellent service and the food was delicious. I will definitely recommend this restaurant.
The top shelf quacamole is amazing. Where else can you go eat and see the manager Saied walking around talking and joking around with guest like they are family. The bartender was nice and friendly. I always recommend El Chico when I want a friendly relaxing restaurant after a long day.
Excellent service and super great waitress (Melissa I think) but the new bloody Mary's are not worth 12$ absolutely probably the worst trade deal in the history of trade deals.

The manager was prompt and proffessional with resolving an issue with our last visit, the staff was very kind and our waitress Shelby did a fantastic job serving us! Food was wonderful as well. ☆☆☆☆☆ 5 stars from me!
This is the best El Chico around! Great staff and delicious food! My family comes here all the time and we never have bad experiences! (Side note, the apple pie is the BEST.)
We stopped in here while Christmas shopping for late lunch/dinner. The service was great and the food came out hot and tasty. They always made sure we had chips and salsa, and that our drinks were full. On top of all of this, their prices are pretty good. I split a Tex Mex for 2 for $19.99, which comes with an appetizer, 2 entrees, and desert. It was all great.

We were in Norman and I really wanted some enchiladas and El Chico did not disappoint. This location is in Sooner Mall, where it has been forever. The food was hot and good, the service was excellent and we enjoyed watching some college football on the TVs on the wall. This was a good visit after a long day.
My favorite here is the Chicken Enchiladas. I cannot seem to find a place that actually seasons the chicken and not just say they do. I love this location best. The staff here always makes sure you have a good experience when visiting the restaurant. They are friendly and efficient in waiting on you and keeping you happy during lunch...dinner.. or whatever you stop in for..

Their fajitas are the best in Norman. They have really hot salsa if you ask for it and the service is great. It's worth it to battle the mall just for lunch here. You'll have the best time here.
