This has been my family's go-to spot for birthday dinners since I was young. Now, I take my own kids there. We usually get the buffet to go now, but we still eat inside occasionally. The owners are really nice and make sure to ask how the kids are and how my school is going if they see me in there. They have asked where my husband was when I went while he was at work. The food is great and they added sushi a while back (I don't eat sushi, but I know others love it). I would highly suggest Panda Garden.
For a Chinese buffet this place isn't too bad. The food is pretty fresh. The place is clean and usually very busy, the servers are not very friendly but get the job done.
Best Chinese buffet I've been too, and I have been to a lot. Lots of selections, great sushi for the price, the staff is friendly and attentive, and everything was fresh and hot. This is our first time here, but not our last.
Our favorite Chinese restaurant! We've been driving 30 minutes to eat here for years and years...Even when they were all the way on the west side of Norman. We usually order food to go at least once a month...and like it even more when we eat inside! LOVE their Vegetable Lo Mein!
Worth waiting for!. My husband and I ate here today. We waited for about 10 minutes for a table. I can see why the locals love this place! Many choices, all delicious! The staff is also very kind and attentive. We will be back!
Good Chinese Buffet. It is what it is... it's a Chinese buffet with a large selection of foods. Some you'll like, some you wont. Groundbreaking stuff right there. Service is ALWAYS excellent and friendly.
The sushi selection is basically California rolls with assorted toppings, though they are freshly prepared. It's good for what it is, not great by any means. However, if you're going to a Chinese buffet to get your sushi fix you're pretty much a moron to begin with.

Lovely People. We have been going to Panda Garden for years and were excited when it moved to the Alameda location. Whether it is slow or busy, we are always greeted with enthusiasm. We have come to know the main host and the owners due to our frequent visits and they are always incredibly polite. If I go with my mom instead of my husband, they always ask about him. My children ask for Panda Garden a lot and love to give the ticket to the person behind the counter when it is time to pay. Food wise, I generally stick to the vegetarian dishes (a habit from when I was a vegetarian). I love the Lo Mein and the Mongolian BBQ is always delicious. This has been one of my favorite restaurants for years and has been the site for many birthday dinners for my siblings, mom, grandparents, and myself.
Yeah. Best Chinese buffet around!

Something for Everybody. I can only speak for their lunch buffet really, but there's something for everybody here. It's a typical Chinese lunch buffet with a few dishes that stands out fromt he rest. Jalapeno Chicken is always a group favorite here as well as their Chicken Egg Rolls. The Vegetable Egg Roll is sub par in my opinion. Most of my co-worker friends enjoy their Mongolian Grill section. For the lunch buffet price we're paying, it's a pretty good deal. I typically get the flat noodles with mushroom and beef with lots of garlic. Be sure to indicate what spice level you like and to be safe, stay on the lower end of the spice spectrum. A friend asked for medium spice and it was pretty spicy to her (but not too spicy for it to be unedible for her). Another group favorite is their green beans when the vegetable is in season. Otherwise, it's not as crunchy and you can definitely tell the vegetable quality difference.
Desserts aren't a strong suit for them, but the group always goes for a little bit of ice cream before we leave. ANd as always, we leave with our bellies full and smelling like Chinese food. I usually leave my purse at home or in my car for that reason (only downside I see really).
Clean and some nice options. It is your typical buffet, but it is clean and has many options.

My favorite time to go is about 11:30am -- the food is rather good when it is fresh. I don't find the freshness to be as good at dinnertime... perhaps some items have sat out too long.
LOVE. This is my favorite buffet in Norman! The jalapeño chicken and rice noodle stir fry are my favorite!

Slightly above average. Seeing as this location just opened up and I LOVE chinese food, I figured I'd give it a try.
The restaurant itself is huge; I don't see there ever being a problem getting a table. The atmosphere is nothing to write home about, but it's a typical chinese restaurant. The buffet offerings were plentiful, but there wasn't a whole lot of each item, so you could get stuck waiting for something you really love if they're busy.
I tried about 12 different items, and on the whole they were fairly bland. The sesame chicken is usually something I would load up on anywhere else. Here, it was merely okay. There's also a Mongolian grill, though unfortunately I didn't get to sample the offerings.
For the price, it's not bad. I have to say I was slightly disappointed, but that could have just been because the dancing panda on the corner got my hopes up (I mean c'mon, breakdancing panda means great food, right?) If you go there hungry, you'll leave full.
The food is wonderful! There's a excellent variety of sushi, very well made and quite tasty. All the food is skillfully prepared and delicious. Beware the home made mustard sauce! Take a small amount so you know what you're getting into. It's very potent.
The food is so good, I started working there part-time 😋 - that's not the only reason of course. It gets really busy there and for good reason. People love to eat there because of the food, service, and value they receive.
