This is the BEST place in Cherry Grove to eat for the money, service, and especially the food ! We come here 2 times in a week on vacation . The Grilled Shrimp and Scallops are AWESOME ! They also have a “ Shack Sauce “ that’s Great ! It’s WELL WORTH THE WAIT ! O , the Hushpuppies are soooo Good !
Fried chicken was cooked great but lacked on spices. Mashed potatoes and gravy were great. Mac and cheese noodles were overdone and mushy. The cornbread was dry. The dessert was amazing! I had the peach cobbler and I would go back just for it!
I can only speak on what I ordered. It was very good. I ordered scallops/oysters/shrimp plate for 21$. It had a good amount and tasted perfect. It was worth the wait. They had a wait but it went fast. The waitress did a awesome job also.
This was a great place for soul food. The food was delicious and more than enough. Hush puppies, cabbage, Lima beans and green beans. Please try the sides. The grilled pork chops were great, not dry, also served with homemade cornbread and we also had flounder and shrimp. The server sorta rushed us and didn't ask if we wanted desserts, she bought the check. I guess everything couldn't be great.
The best crab cakes ever. Service was awesome. Just a fun place to eat. Even ran into another group from Zanesville.

We took a drive up here from Myrtle Beach on a rainy Thursday. I wanted to visit somewhere that wasn't one of those large touristy type places. This was it. After a short 3 minute wait we were seated. Our server was so friendly and quickly brought our drinks. We got a basket of hush puppies with their honey butter. I don't care for hush puppies, but I had no problem eating several of these. They were very good.
I opted for fried scallops and shrimp and mac and cheese. The scallops were the star of my lunch. The only other place I have had scallops this good is in Maine. I am very selective about ordering scallops and after reading several reviews I decided to go ahead and get them and I'm so glad I did. The shrimp and mac and cheese were good too. My partner got fried oysters with fries and he said they were delicious. We were too stuffed to order desert, but I couldn't help but notice how yummy their cobblers looked. I would have liked to try their breakfast but we left the next day and didn't have time to stop.

New to the area and found this place on google. What a great find. It's a small place but the food was excellent and the price was reasonable. I had the lunch special which includes choice of meat and 3 sides for around $12. I ordered the fried shrimp and they were cooked perfectly, hot and fresh. The veggies reminded me of home. I will be visiting again to try the other lunch specials and dinner.
Great country cooking at a very affordable price. They have a very friendly staff and many of the owner’s family members work there. Our first visit was a great experience and we are already planning our next meal when we are back in the area. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.
First time customer, Was blown away by the amazing service. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Restaurant was clean and inviting. We had breakfast and truly impressed with the food quality. Definitely recommend and will be back.
