Great fat tacos! I love plain authentic carne asada tacos with just onions and cilantro. Hopefully they have limes in addition to lemons to douse my juicy loves with. Maybe they do,..I hust didn't ask bc I was too impatient to eat em up!

Simple menu with a special every day. My Dad loved it too. Plenty of space to eat, nice staff, like 2 minutes away from me,...no complaints.

There was never a taco Marla Benz didn't like. La Taquiza has amazingly authentic food at amazingly reasonable prices. Fill your bellies without emptying your wallet!

Best asada tostada ever. Squirt on the red and green sauce and enjoy. Guam made fresh every hour. So good.
Some of the best asada tacos I've had. When mine came up to the counter the woman standing there changed her order.
In an area where all restaurant want way to much for food this is a gem good food great prices

I hate disappearing reviews so let's do this again! La Taquiza is a family run restaurant and I believe they have 2 other locations. I frequent the Northbrook location as it's closer to our house.
We have been coming here for many years and we always get good service and never had a bad experience with the employees. Now is it the best taco place in the world no, but it is a very solid place to grab a quick bite to eat at a reasonable price. We will continue to come here and my kids have started to enjoy it so many more years to come from our family.

Wow. That was the best burrito bowl I’ve ever had. This place is what Chipotle wishes it was. What they lack in indoor seating, they more than make up for with fresh ingredients and artistic presentation—which was no surprise with the influence of Frida Kahlo’s work prevalent on the walls. La Taquiza is an absolute gem and I couldn’t recommend it more highly.
Went on a whim, since it was the closest to where I'm working now. I got the tree tacos Wednesday special and payed extra for a slice of avocado on each. The meal was AMAZING, and at a great price! I would have happily paid $20 for the meal it was so good. Definitely going to be eating there a lot!
La comida mexicana mas sabrosa que he probado. They have amazing food that has always kept me coming back for years. They give you amazing portions for the price you pay. Not to mention great people working the counter, especially the lady who works in the back. You have to visit them si quieres comida tan sazonado y autentico.
