Smoqehouse has something for everyone! Smoqehouse is not your typical BBQ joint. Yet they make awesome BBQ. It's also not your typical sandwich shop. Their sandwiches and other menu items are one-of-a-kind. Smoqehouse is always fresh, creative, unique and ever-changing in their flavor and texture combinations. Asian, Tex-Mex, Mediterranean, BBQ, Indian influences just to name a few abound in their menu. You can taste the passion they put into all their offerings and they're committed to using locally sourced ingredients. Example: their olive oil is made just down the street and bakery and produce are all within a couple miles. The ambiance is fun and welcoming where even the décor is created by the owners. There is not a weak link on their menu. You can't go wrong. And since their daily specials change every day you'll never get bored with the selection. Portions are satisfying and you won't go broke either. Do yourself a favor and check them out.
Are you kidding me??? This is the BEST pork and brisket I may have ever had. Just when I was thinking that I should eat more salad and less meat....ha! So much for that idea. Then on top of the food being amazing is the fact that they source as much as they can locally. Over the top!!

The poutine was everything I hoped it would be. Hot, crunchy, homemade fries drowning in salty beef gravy and topped with a big handful of cheese curds. The shaved beef sandwich was equally as delicious. Giant ciabatta bun stuffed with thick cut beef, melted cheese, caramelized onions, crisp greens and a horseradish sauce that was surprisingly more sweet than spicy. It was the best lunch I've had in a long time! Welcome to Northfield, Smoqehouse!
Amazing food and a great space!!! The staff that knows all about the REAL food that they are serving. Food from local growers. Andy and Heidi have a passion for the food they share and for their customers.! A great match!
So good! A very fun take on barbecue. The porchetta is a must try, the brisket burger so good, and the handcut fires with that sauce will keep me coming back.
Poutine was outstanding...gravy was rich, salty, and hot enough to melt the cheese curds over the hand cut fries. We had the burger and the roast beef sandwich both fresh, and equally tasty. Service was fast, and efficient, and the price was definitely right! We will be returning soon!
The food is great, owners are fabulous, atmosphere is picturesque. You are missing out if you don’t eat there regularly.
This place is a must if you live in Northfield or just visiting for the day. The owners are so creative which reflects in their menu and the atmosphere. They use local food and their own recipes for their sauces. My husband LOVES their fry sauce. I haven't had anything I've disliked. It's all amazing. This location has ice cream and who knew ice cream, olive oil and salt would be a delicious combo? This is just one example of Smoqehouse's creativity and commitment to unique dishes and flavors. Check 'em out. The price is right and the food is awesome!!
Food was so good! The veggie sandwich was amazing! My husband loved the pulled pork and my kids loved their BBQ chicken. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend!

Had the Chicken Jerk sandwich and it was excellent! Good kick and tender chicken. The salad also top notch, light and refreshing!
The food at Smoqehouse is simple and delicious. Fries fried in lard, sandwiches made with freshly baked bread and fresh meat and veggies. We love that you support local food producers/farmers and that you've added ice cream to the menu in Northfield! Great vibe at the new location too! This will be regular dining spot for us.
The Fries are Amazing! Then add the sauce and you have one hell of a winning combination. The Brisket Burger has that same sauce on it and takes it to a whole new level.
Had the Korean sandwich too but made the wrong move of eating it after the fries and Brisket. Nope. Not even in the same league. I have eaten tons of Korean food, gone to Korea and worked in the kitchen of a Korean camp for over 12 years. There really isn't anything Korean about it. It's just a beef brisket with ginger slaw on top. It's good but no where near the level of the other two items.
Will definitely be trying again to see what other delish items they have.
The food was great, staff very friendly. Rosemary chicken and brisket burgers were highlights. Hand cut fries, super crispy chips. I will be back.

Large fries are enormous—Sandwiches are very good. Seating is kind of tight, but it works.
Trying to find an excuse to get back to Northfield soon because the food at Smoqehouse was amazing!!!!! We had the pulled pork and Korean beef sandwiches with fries and loved all of it. Fun asthetic inside and service was great!
Awesome! The special was great! The regular menu looks good and am going back there tomorrow to try it out.
