Great concept! Nice small homey fast food restaurant. The day I went there were 3 nice old ladies working there. It was Ma & Pa feel with lots of character, small enough to care and keep it under control, and delicious burrito! :)

Tacoasis (tah-ko-ā-sis) noun, place It's the place, the shack, the joint to hit for a sack of cheap taco goodness. (And I mean "cheap" in all the good ways. The last thing they should ever do is go a-changing!) PS: Order the salad dressing to go with your potato olés...

I have lived in Northfield for over 10 years and only visited Tacoasis a few years ago - That's my loss. Great little Tex-Mex fast food restaurant. Their refried beans and beef are excellent. Stop by when you're in the area; you won't regret it!

THE BEST! I cannot say enough about how great the food is at Tacoasis! The tacos and tators are delicious, and the service is great! I crave Tacoasis every time I go to Northfield! If you have not tried it before, give it a go! I highly recommend!

Good food and really friendly staff. Updated April 24, 2022. The woman who owned this restaurant decided to retire and sold the restaurant. I met the new owner and employees. They are very friendly. They kept the identical menu. They also get the food from the same vendors. The food tastes identical to the past and the employees prepare and make the items exactly the same as the past. I live 45 miles away from the restaurant so I will drive 90 miles to eat there every so often. Now this restaurant is an old Taco John's. Therefore there is room in the front window for 3 or 4 people to stand and eat in the restaurant. There are 2 picnic tables in front of the restaurant for nice weather eating not winter time. Also you can eat in your car or go through the drive thru and take it home. I am impressed by the new crew. I am glad that the restaurant lives on.

This place is way better than any fast taco place. Everything tastes like it was made at home. They use good ingredients. 2 tacos here will fill you up like 4 tacos from other places. I think it's also locally owned.

US Foods Driver comes during lunch rush, parks really far away from door and delivers really slowly. Good Food, Cash Only. Lady taking your order is glad she is “built sturdy”
