Since I was 4 years old Peggy's Lunch Box was where I spent every day of my childhood in this little building. First table straight ahead. (Picture shown). Brings back so many memories just thinking about it. I used to run around like I owned the place a a child. Let me just say this.. If I knew anything about the resturant business I would keep this up and running! Peggy is an amazing person and I wish you nothing but the best. I am sad to see that Peggy's Lunch Box is going to be closing on April 30th, 2022. I wish there was a way to get a donation together to give to keep it up running. I will always remember this place with every beat of my heart!
Thank you for the past 27 years of my life being in a place where I could always call home! Love you Peggy and family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers!
This is a very nice little diner that's been here forever. The breakfast food was wonderful and so is the service. I recommend it.
I think this is a one-of-kind breakfast experience in the area. Such a simple concept - really good food and friendly people at an appropriate price. Everything I tried was good and had a home cooked feel. The people are super friendly and not fake. Just normal people. Place is pretty small but that adds to the sense that you’re eating at home or in a friend’s kitchen.
Finding a small independent Dinner is becoming more difficult every day.
2020 has broken down many larger establishments Being able to find a place that can still makes delish from scratch foods is so refreshing.

When I visit her, it's so I can sample her Soups. Her Wedding Soup is among the best I have had any where. I really like her Potato Soup, and most recent visit I enjoyed her Un-stuffted Pepper Soup. That was a surprise for me. After having a Bowl of one kind I had cups of two others that day. Most of my meal I took home for later.
Bypass the big Chains that all serve the same frozen foods, and let your appetite have the pleasure of something that has flavor and taste.

I love this place. The food and service is five star. A teeny bit expensive, but quality and serving size more than make up the difference. I take my son and brother there for breakfast whenever they visit. "We're going to Peggy's for breakfast, right?" They remember and want to go back. It's an old diner atmosphere. They have lots of regulars, greeted by name by staff and patrons. But, don't worry, you are welcome too.

The food was great. I received exactly what I ordered, exactly the way I ordered it. Best cornbeef hash I've had since living in Ohio. I was there with two ladies and neither had a complaint. Everyone on the staff was nice and even humorous! I do not eat out often, but I am sure I will return.
