I give Robke's a Five Star Rating...My family and friends have been going to Robke's for years! The food is always excellent, and if there was a higher rating I would surely give it to this wonderful restaurant! Lou and his son, plus a great staff, make the dining experience even more special. This is the one place I go with my family on a regular weekly basis since I was a child...saying the food and staff are amazing is truly an understatement.. my son is treated like royalty every time he walks in - everything about this place is unbelievable!!! I recommend it to everyone I know!!! Give it a try, you will not be disappointed!!
We had lunch there today, and everything was awesome. The staff are all friendly and professional. The food is absolutely amazing. We just had appetizers this time, but we saw other people's plates, and there was no skimping on portion sizes! I can't wait to come back for a full dinner soon. My new favorite place!
We arrived at 12:30 and told our server that we had plans to go to a show at 2. I was anxious that we didn’t have enough time. The server reassured us that we’d make it to the show in time. He was right!! Even with a full restaurant (which included a private party of 30 and a group of 15 in the front of the restaurant!), we were seated promptly, enjoyed our delicious food, had a great conversation, and made it to the theatre in time. We didn’t feel rushed at all. Thanks so much! It was a wonderful dining experience. The staff is great.
Food is always consistent best plate chicken Parmesan I’m a huge scarp fan but just not a fan of there’s sorry no disrespect service is always awesome and food always come out hot niiiiiiccceeeee and the specials are always great too enjoy Strong Island 😎

Had a fantastic dinner there with friends last night. Service and Dining experience like none other. Went in late on a Saturday night and the place was packed, yet somehow the staff made us feel like we were the only table there. Their pictures do not lie! Every dish is as mouth watering as you imagine them to be. Shout out to the hard workers that were making it look easy. Make your reservations ASAP

An amazing authentic Italian meal! Fried Mozzarella tower with two kind sof sauces is incredible! House made pasta with amazing seafood is to die for. Place is great! Def will be back!

Went here today with a group of us and everything was delicious from the rice ball to the eggplant Parmesan, also had baked clams, mussels in a white wine sauce! The stuffed flounder was amazing as well as the shrimp oreganata with broccoli rabe. Wow!! Staff was very friendly and the cheesecake and chocolate mousse cake were delightful. If you've never been, you must try Robke's soon! We will be back�
This place is a gem! I had the best veal marsala I've ever had and the mozzarella tower is not to be missed.

One of the very few places on Long Island that live up to the "good Italian food" hype. From start to finish the food was stellar and the service was surprisingly solid considering how busy it was. Appetizers were great, especially the fried calamari (which was fresh and cooked perfectly). The main course was served quickly after that and there wasn't a bad dish on the table. I personally had the spicy chicken Parm and was impressed at how well the chicken was prepared and the rigatoni cooked (both had just the right level of spice). Drink wise, we ordered an espresso martini (which was of course phenomenal). We were worried when we walked in to a packed restaurant, that the service might suffer but thankfully we were seated immediately and a waiter came right over. Throughout the meal they were quick on drink refills and to clear empty plates. Our one (very minor) issue was with the parking, which was less of an actual issue and more just that we didn't know where we could and couldn't park (maybe some signs would help but the staff was quick to explain parking when we asked so it worked out fine). Overall a great meal and well worth the money in my opinion. I would say "it's just like Grandma makes" but to be perfectly honest....it was better 😅. Can't wait to come back.
I’m not really into Italian food but my father loves this place and he is a regular here, their food is quite good! I highly recommend the baked clams! Beware of the noise level if you have sensitive hearing though because it is very loud.
I mean, this meal will kill me if I have it more than once a month, but it's got to be the best Mac and Cheese I've ever had, period. The sliced steak was genuinely medium rare, extremely succulent and very tender. Held quite well late at night as it was too big to finish over a single meal.

Finally Finally got to try Robkes in Northport. I’ve been wanting to try them for a very long time and I recently had a day off so went there for the lunch special.
The place was packed out on a random Monday afternoon at 1230pm. There was a really great vibe and you could feel the positive energy in there.
We started with the fried calamari. Now, I don’t want to be over-dramatic but I’ve thought about this and I really think they just may have the best fried calamari I’ve ever had. It was so light and tender and crispy. It was really fantastic.
Then we shared their famous Mac & cheese. Normally I would never order Mac & cheese at a restaurant but all the reviews on Long Island Food & Drink and here on Google made me do it. And WOW. This chef. What a rebel. You should have seen what he did with the pasta. Real gutsy move LOL! He had at least 5 different shapes of pasta on that Mac & Cheese. And it was all a perfect Al dente (I cannot stand soft pasta). It was delicious. And the sirloin steak was seasoned so well with the best flavor. I cannot wait to go back and try so many more of their dishes. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place is a hidden GEM! I heard that some of the time there is a long wait. I went on a Thursday night a little after 7 and it wasn't too bad. My sister and my brother in law are here almost weekly. This is why we made the trip from Merrick. My son is having an outdoor, so we decided to judge the food for ourselves.
Let me start by saying it's old school. This means that you get great service. I don't have to tell those who read my post what that means to me. Service and good food.... good enough to cater a wedding. I am sure we will have a great time at the wedding but I will relish in hearing all about the good food because the food is literally absolutely delicious. My top 3 picks are the pork chops martini, the white mac & cheese, and lastly, the chicken milanese. They have the bestt chicken cutlets. Anyone with kids hands down, you have to order the Mac and cheese with sliced chicken cutlets on top.
I did leave one bit to minor detail out they have a good bar so feel free to try their dirty martini, and yes, they have good olives. I'm sure this review will have added to the wait que.
Very popular, very busy, cash only. No reservations so going a little earlier to beat crowds helps. Parking can be tight, there’s a shopping center right across the street that is almost always easier than the lot. Regular menu items are all very good, but the daily rotation of specials is always worth looking at as some of their best stuff rotates on the specials. Cocktails from the bar are on point, or you can pick a bottle from the wide selection of Orin Swift wines they carry. Enjoy!
Went to an engagement session at Sunken Meadow State Park but forgot my wallet and only had a random $60 in my pocket. Jumped on @googlemaps for somewhere with good food, affordable and opened late on a Sunday and found Robkes! This is a quaint old school Italian restaurant with a laid back homely feel. Delicious authentic tasting food, with generous portions at an affordable price! I had the Bronx Chicken Cutlet Parmigiana which was really a good pick! The staff was friendly and checked in on me regularly to see if all was good. I’d definitely come back here again if I’m out in Northport Long Island and definitely recommend it!
Was there twice in a three day stay with my wife and two great friends, who are regulars there. We had the blackened steak, pork chop martini with calamari and shrimp appetizers. Everything was amazing!!! Matt made our two visits most enjoyable!!! We look forward to eating here again when we visit again.

Went here last night. Absolutely fantastic! Yes it’s loud but the food and service was outstanding! We will definitely be back. Got there early and got a table. We were very lucky. People waited outside for a table for quite some time. We had The Italian salad to start then lasagna, stuffed artichoke and the red snapper.
Food was very good. It was extremely busy as to be expected for a Saturday night but a table for 2 had us seated within 5 mins. Our waiter wasn't the greatest, never bought out bread, we asked for refills and he forgot about it and I had to ask again, my wife asked for water and he just never bought it out. Beyond that, we did like the restaurant and were very happy with our meal. The quality of the food out weighed the poor service from the waiter.
Instant service at Lunch Time on Sunday... Walked in and immediately got a nice table. The wait staff was welcoming and didn't give us that rush rush feeling.
Food was great and the portions were great as well. A bit of a wait for our meals but it wasn't overly long. Three of us ended up bringing home half of our meals. We ordered Pasta Dishes, Chicken Parm, Baked Salmon, Salad, Steak Sandwich and eggplant appetizer... Everything was plated nicely, tasted great and was served hot.
Lunch specials are $14.99, a good value and the restaurant only accepts cash.
The place has a good reputation and we would definitely visit again...
Absolutely love this place. Very authentic mom and pops Italian restaurant vibe. Food was OUTstanding (coming from an Italian). This place is heavily crowded which was not a bad thing. Everyone (especially the customers) were all so friendly. A majority of the customers seemed like regulars which makes it feel even cozier. You would think the star of the show was the Pork Chop Martini (a medium to thin pounded Parmesan crusted pork chop with a white wine garlic lemon sauce topped with hot cherry peppers) HOWEVER it was MATT!!!! Our server was absolutely authentic, raw and EFFICIENT. Honestly the whole staff was on their A Game. My bestfriend dropped her napkin and one of the staff members replaced it before she could even think to pick it up. The food was served in a timely fashion which was impressive being that it was PACKED. I will absolutely return strictly off of the service provided!!! I can not recommend this place enough !!!! Easy to see why so popular. Food is very good, creative combos. A bit loud, a bit slow in terms of food arriving to table on a crowded Weekend night. But staff from the large friendly fella who seated us immediately. To the wait staff who ran around whole night excellent food, drinks and service.
Standard Long Island Deli with fresh goods and a wide variety of offerings. A nice pickle included with every sandwich. The staff is generous, kind and pays attention to your order. I have had lunch there two or three times a week for well over a year and the have never messed up my order

My great lunch buddy Joe turned me on to this place in Northport. I thought he might have been exaggerating just a little on how great the food quality, portion size, and deal was for the lunch specials that are all $15 and under, but I'm very happy to say that I was wrong and he is spot on. The food and service are outstanding! The food is fresh, made to order, and served with love from the staff.

Family run, the owner is there every opening like the captain of a ship making sure everything is running smoothly and up to his high standards. Then, his son comes in like a 1st mate for the second shift to ensure those high standards are held to until closing.
Although they are very busy at times, they will always greet everyone with a smile and are not satisfied until you are happy with your experience.
