The food we had for lunch was amazing. We both had crab stuffing with fresh baked haddock. The smaller portion was lunch size, but my husband opted for the dinner size for $4 more and twice as much portion. He also had the onion rings that were so plentiful and tasty. There was an up charge of $3 for them but OMG the portion was incredible.
Service was friendly and attentive.
We will keep this place on our “to go to” list.
Sorry no pics, we ate it all before we thought of it! The maple salmon tips were yummy, tender, perfectly cooked and just a little sweet. The steak tips were fork cutting tender and juicy. The butternut squash was just a little sweet and very tasty. Good service, decent prices and excellent food.
Our family loves this place for getting ice cream! The variety of ice cream offered here is extensive! There is something for everyone! And the portions are extremely generous! As a grown adult, I have ordered the kiddie size many times and was completely satisfied. I really appreciate the picnic tables outside. Although, they are often not clean so I try to go with lysol wipes. 😉 We also love to get seafood when we dine in! Great service and super portions!
Johnson's Seafood and Steak restaurant in New Durham, NH is a good place for quick and casual dining for either lunch or dinner. Dine in or use the take-out window. It is family friendly in the main dining area and is very clean, well-lighted. Food is good with decent size portions at a fair price. Good, friendly service, but can be a little noisy when the dining area if full. They have a little bakery with fresh baked goods and breads’ Good selection of local and regional beers on tap as well as a wine menu. Ice cream desserts are excellent.
Food is reliably decent. Dinner service can be painfully slow, but lunch is usually fine (might be a post-Covid issue; lots of places short handed). The seafood is good, and the ice cream outside is great. OK for kids but mind when you go if you have antsy youngsters.
The food here is wonderful. The service is great! People are so nice in New Hampshire! We even found out that our waitress went to The University of Alabama. Roll Tide! We will definitely be eating here again!
The food we ordered was very good. Came fast and was hot. The price was more than fair. The waitress was awesome. We will go back the next time we travel in that direction
